Provided it shows they've actually listened to us, not at all.
Hell I'd cheer, be proud of Bioware and start encouraging everybody I know to get the game.

If the "fixed" endings were somehow worse then yes. But if they fix the problems then no.

Of course everyone wants a new, better ending. You have to ask yourself another question.

If BioWare really comes up with a new ending DLC, and it most certainly won't be for free, it really just means that they ****ed up bad. That they didn't listen to us. They tried to sell us such an awful ending, and then use the DLC to restore your "faith", so you will happily buy all the other stuff they throw at you aswell.

They lied to us, the customers, so many times. Our choices would matter, 16 different endings, every question would be answered blah blah blah... but at the end, its all just PR bull****.

If you really want to "hold the line", stop buying EA/BioWare products. Show them, that we, the fans, are the ones that matter the most. That you cant **** up this bad, and then just throw some DLC at us and everything is fine again.

At least, thats how I think about it. In the end, its up to YOU, to change something.

PS: Also my English sucks balls and I'm pretty tired, so yea, starchild t-shirts for all of you!

As the title says wouldn't that make you upset if they did this? I read in an article two theories on endings BW could be pursuing one is called the truth it basically would be an ending were shep was indoctrinated and what we experienced with the star child and the decisions was actually a lie. But would this be a better or worse thing?

Not only is BW asking us to download a new ending but its also unclear if BW would give it to us for free or make us pay for it. Another problem I have with this is that you're only downloading a new ending you don't get a new world or new missions or anything just a new ending. I know players got upset that Arrival essentially rewrote ME2s ending its the same principle a new ending(s) means they rewrote the endings we got. Talk about needing a really long time to properly explain everything.

I will download it if and only if it will be free. My next actions will depend on quality of that ending fix.

Read the first and last pages of this thread. Seems like a resounding no.

Keep the endings as they are.
They are fine and I'd be outraged, yes, if I had to pay for a new unfitting "mega happy ending" ( http://penny-arcade....omic/2012/03/16 ).
Especially if this new ending was considered canon.

On the other hand, some kind of epilogue, just to bring a bit of closure...

How many times it needs to be said? We don't want "mega happy ending" (well some want), what we want is ending that fits Mass Effect universe and makes sense without shouting "IT'S ART YOU IGNORANT FOOL"

If It had been planned all along, and Bioware charged for it, I would be pretty annoyed, but not angry enough to not buy it. I would like to say, "rawr! I wouldn't buy it! I have principle!" But in reality my need for closure outweighs any claims for principle in this situation. So if that is indeed Bioware's plan all along, I find myself grudgingly respecting their evil genius.

As long as I'm not paying for a DLC that fixes this and with whatever ME2 romance that got screwed, I won't be pissed.

Fallout 3 didn't enrage me.  I doubt this would.

So if we're cry babies, you're crying about cry babies.  So why should we listen to you?

Yes because we should have gotten a full game from the start -_-
and
No because the endings can not remain as they are.

No. Ideally it should come as a patch and not a DLC you have to pay for because they made mistakes. Wipe these mistakes out, clear some things up (where does the galaxy stand after the reapers have been taken out for starters) and I'm happy.

You're english is quite fine. Image IPB

I do fully understand where you are coming from, and right now I am in the "never give them any of my money again" mindset. I don't disagree, and hate that we were misled and lied to by the PR, but I am also not a grudge holder. If they try to make it right....with real effort, I would give them the benefit of the doubt. I am acustomer experience analyst, and feel that if a company that has alienated part of it's customer base and works hard to correct it, then something positive should come from that.

That being said, if things are not corrected and they decide ultimately to hold to the lies and misrepresentations made, then they will never see a dime of my money again.
