So if they did release a new ending, wouldn't you be outraged?

Nope. Hell, I would pay if necessary (only because ME3 is my all-time favorite videogame series - if AC3 or Bioshock Infinite releases DLC to fix an ending I wouldn't buy them).

Mass Effect deserves a less depressing and illlogical ending.

While I want them to do SOMETHING about the endings, one thing that concerns me is that even if they do, no matter what they do they won't please everyone.

Even if they change/add to the ending there is no way everybody is getting the ending they personally want.

What happens then? Do people carry on demanding yet another ending? Or will people actually be able to accept that as long as it is a better ending, even if it's not what they themselves wanted, it's good enough?

If they had planned an ending DLC all along like "The Truth" conspiracy...they are genius'

If they didn't plan but put one anyway to make their fans happy...they really do listen and care about fans

Win Win

I wouldn't care, I think the endings are fine as they are.

But everyone is entitled to their opinion.

No, I would be overjoyed, I'd dance, sing, and take back most of the rants I've said about the ending.

No. I love Mass Effect. Would I be willing to pay 15 dollars on the top to have it finish in a satisfying manner? You betcha.

No, I wouldn't. It is sorely needed.

I am putting it out there right now: I will not be paying for any ME3 DLC until new ending DLC becomes available, so if BioWare wants to make any more money off of me any time soon, that better be the first DLC they put out.

If not, they will get no more of my money from anything relating to Mass Effect (games, books, merchandise, whatever).

In addition, for anything not related to ME, I will not be pre-ordering your games again.  I will be waiting at least a week to see if anything like this kind of debacle arises.

No, because the people who love the artsy "poetic" ending can keep it and the people who want closure with everyone they've spent time with since ME1 can get it with DLC.

I could care less about people complaining about it being a free DLC or not.  Sure I've already bought the game, but the ending in this one is just so unpalatable for me that I would legitimately buy DLC and not regret it.

And this is because, IMO, 95% of the game is done right.  The ending is not.  So if they can fix the ending and make it the way it was intended with choices actually affecting everything, I will buy it.

Let the people complain about the DLC not being free.  Let them complain that it will ruin the game because Bioware is appealing to the fans, which they even stated helped develop the series along.  Appealing to the fans is NOT ALWAYS bad.

All those people who complain about the new ending do not have to buy the DLC.  Period.

So everyone who enjoys the current ending, shut up and don't buy the DLC.

I personally will probably be the first to buy it.  Sure, I could sit here and complain that the epilogue DLC is not gonna be free, but is that going to change my 3 different endings based on Red, Green and Blue? Absolutely not.  Seriously, even if the ending was made into an expanison pack a la Dragon Age Origins: Awakening style I'd buy it.

EDIT: Let me add that I will also pretend that the ending I got for ME3 was all a bad dream and that I was indoctrinated to believe this was the actual true ending.

No I wouldn't be.  They lied about the ending because they knew it was bad and people like me wouldn't buy it but all they can do now is make it right.  If they made it right they would get me back as a customer.  If release new ending DLC I will be over the moon.

Hold the line for as long as it takes people.
