Galactic Readiness @ 0%

Just wanted to report a seemingly widespread issue with my galactic readiness resetting to 0%. I've had a quick browse of these forums and others and tried some rumoured fixes such as play a round of MP and then check and restart the game, none of which have worked. Anyone got any other possible fixes?

have you checked your host file/ firewall settings, can ME3 connect to EA's servers?

Yeah tell me about it, I went from 50% to 0% after completing one of the Priority missions. Tuchanka I think it was.
Anyway no I've not actually, I could connect to the store and multiplayer with no issue so I didn't think that my firewall would be an issue. I'll test it now and report back.
EDIT: Disabling my firewall did nothing, still @ 0%. I was hoping the game would be more stable than this, I keep finding tonnes of bugs...

On a side note, it makes me wonder whenever EA & Bioware stop supporting the game, what will happen to the Galatic Readiness rating. Say if you want to play the game several years from now and EA closes the servers. Will the galatic readiness stay at the default 50% or will it just be at 0 since there will be no server to connect to.

That is a terrible bug to have,
especially if it is your first time playing through ME3. I have never
experienced or heard of it till you brought it up bwfc_nut. You have
my sympathies.

Yeah, I feel quite annoyed really. I just keep finding bug after bug, with this one being game crippling. Hopefully they'll release a patch soon to fix it and introduce a way to hit 100% in single player alone. As much as I enjoy the co-op, I can't see it surviving more than 2-3 months. Eventually the hype will die out.

WEIRD... I just restarted the game, and it's up to 96%.... it's not the 98% it was last night but... better than zero! :/
At least some people have managed to fix it then; I've restarted my game MANY times and it's always at 0. The game is unfinishable for me in its current state...
EDIT: Typos

Your readiness will continue to deteriorate until it hits 50% (suppose to not go lower than that) unless you continue to play multiplayer. I forget what the rate is but it's like a couple % for a few hours.DeaconX wrote...

Try restarting, going to MULTIPLAYER, then go back to load your single player game. That's what did it for me I think.
Was the first thing I tried and it's never worked for me, done it multiple times now. I've just given up on SP until this is fixed. Last BioWare game I pre-order...

This is an important fix needed so I'll bump as well. I want to play my single player game without needing multiplayer- I do want to play the MP but I can't risk my readiness plummeting to zero percent by whatever bug is tripping this off. People aren't going to abandon the multiplayer en masse because it's not needed single player- and another thing as seen watching my best friend- fix the reward system so a bad connection/ the servers inability to stability doesn't penalize people getting kicked off because I know she raged after wave 10 getting kicked off for no reason.
I like the MP and I like the idea that it ties into the SP, but making 100% readiness rating only reachable by playing multiplayer games in the chance that you get a raise in galactic readiness rating? It's insanity if you ask me. What happens in the future for people waiting to buy it or people wanting to replay it when the MP is dead, or virtually non-existant? Absolutely ridiculous idea...

I find you loose approx 1% every 24 hours.
Playing on a Windows XP box with SP3. No issues yet but I'm only 1/3 of the way into the game.

It depends, you lose from 100% to 99% in just an hour or two.
But from 55 to 54% might take 24 hours.
