Can the current character be changed using the toolset (or any other app?).
I want to change how my mage looks, cause i now feel that he does not represent the kind of character i am becoming.
If a similar query has been answered earlier, please point me to the same. I tried to search for a solution couldnt find one.
Thanks

You can use toolset but its a bit difficult. I managed to do it by creating a new game and splicing the new save onto the old save only changing the character appearance. Make sure you make a backup of your save games you can find them in your documents folder (this is what it looks like in windows 7 "C:\\Users\\your name\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Characters\\your character name")
MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP THE ORIGINAL SAVES
1. open the original save game that ends with ,das then open the new save game that ends in .das
2.expand "SAVEGAME_PLAYER_CHAR" then under "SAVEGAME_PLAYER_CHAR" you will see a sub category called "SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR" delete that one in the original and copy "SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR" from the new one into the original.
This will copy the new character over the old one. unfortunately doing this will remove all your stats and items from your inventory.
So now to fix this we open up the backed up original file and copy back over SAVEGAME_EQUIPMENT_ITEMS and SAVEGAME_CREATURE_STATS.
I hope you got all that man:unsure:
I'm sure there is an easier way but I don't know of it:lol:

If you're already using a toolset-generated morph, it's pretty easy. Just open the morph in the toolset, make the changes you want, post to local, and start your game. Or is this not what you meant?

It's not hard, just a little time consuming.
