Ok, completed ME3 SP, played a lot of MP with all classes, and now still wonder.
Why aren't all biotics instant? There are instant biotics like Stasis and Reave. But why don't throw/pull/warp/singularity work in the same pattern? It wouldn't add damage, it wouldn't make cooldowns better, it would just make the powers work more convienient, at the exact time they were cast. It wouldn't remove curve, targets would still be affected at the proper angle depending on the croshair position.
I mean, I went into the editor and made it myself, and it works fine:

It'd make biotics completely broken if they were all instant cast.

Because? Why doesn't stasis and reave fly to the target then like most of the bunch does?

Because then you would be able to instantly crowd control any groups of enemies at a whim. Add that with crazy fast cooldown times and you're basically back to ME1 level of Biotic-Brokeness.

No Idea. Personally, I don't think they should be instant cast either.
