I also know you shouldn't take anything for a fact just because you can't prove it's wrong. That was my point. I think we're sort of on the same page but just arguing semantics now.
Anyway, getting back to the movie... I would very much like to discuss the ending in more detail. However, this thread does not have a big fat SPOILERS warning so I won't do it here.
