 Great game series, one of the WORST endings ever, but at least they didn't go for the Star Wars type cheesy ending where everyone praises the good guys that conquered evil. 

I agree I believe that is what the complainers wanted a cliched ending

Not really. They still have a majority of the fanbase that isn't this movement. They'll do just fine with their games. This one little section of the world is nothing to them.

Even if they loose 5% of their fanbase it's still much.

Don't you see? It's because they didn't get the response that they wanted. That they were entitled to. They got the truth, and they just can't handle the truth.

They never came out and said outright DAII was a mistake either.

DAII wasn't a mistake. Its the same situation. People didnt like it so they whined about it. They said they're not changing ME3, and I don't know what they're waiting for, really.

I honestly don't know why everyone was crying over the ending... It wasn't the best but the MP makes up for it

actually, only 5% (as you say) have revealed that intention that leaves 93% unaccounted for so you have no way of knowing if that statement is true and i am betting that in the end 90 total % will want the ends changed and 10% against all of them(see i gave you some room to grow), either way they have angered more people than ever before with all of this.

CD Project have five new projects under development, with one of them a completely new AAA-RPG IP, and another one most likely a new Witcher title (no idea what the rest might be). Also, Bioshock Infinite and Dishonored are likely to be really unique experiences. Just to name a couple of interesting things.

The statement from Casey Hudson yesterday is exactly the kind of condascending whitewash I was expecting. Here is what I took away from it (your mileage may vary):

- We're happy with what we did, and take no responsibility for the fact that we might have dropped the ball.
- Publications and gaming sites gave ME3 great reviews, so STFU.
- We'll keep supporting the game throughout the year by making you pay for DLC which continues Commander Shepard's adventures (and based on previous comments, the intention is for this DLC to take place before the endgame).

Face it people - it's over. Let's not be naive. The endings are what they are - they're not gonna change, not in any substantial way. It simply doesn't make any business sense, and at the end of the day, money talks and bull***t walks. I know there are those of you who feel that the long-term repercussions of not addressing the ending debacle outweigh any short-term losses, but EA/BioWare have obviously tossed this around and decided - "no". As Hudson says in his statement, as far as they're concerned, disappointment with the endings is confined to "some of our most passionate fans."

I don't say any of this to be negative for the sake of it. It's just that, reading through the forums, I still see so many people "holding the line" and clinging to some slither of hope that the endings will be revised. And I know (at least, I'm thoroughly convinced) that it's just not going to happen. Believe me, I was genuinely hoping that BioWare would step up and do something out-of-the-ordinary to address this, but Hudson's statement is the final nail in the coffin for me. Take heart in the fact that we've currently raised in excess of $60K for charity (which, unsurprisingly, Hudson doesn't even acknowledge in his statement), and move on.

For my own part, I have uninstalled ME1/2/3 from my PC, and have absolutely no intention of purchasing any future DLC, even if it addresses the endings (which it won't). I also have absolutely no intention of buying another product from BioWare ever again. My N7 Collector's Edition has been shoved to the back of a drawer, where it will stay.

I'm not a complete pessimist. I've made a backup of my saved games. But in every other respect, I'm done with BioWare and with this game. It's just such a massive shame that it had to end like this.

Wow.  The game was released 12 days ago.  12.  And until something definitive is said, I'm not going anywhere.  That being said, chalk one up for their PR team <_<
