I can't believe so many people are over reacting to a game they don't like. I don't think any other game has received so much criticism for the way it ends.

That could be due to the fact no game has as much emotional draw to it as ME does. When you have a game with characters you are not invested in has a crappy ending, you just pawn it and go about your business.

Its a plus to the ability of biowares storytelling.

By posting a single shallow jab that had nothing to do with the content of anything? I suppose that more or less is how you've always done it, of course.

Not really, as I merely added to what Godwood had already said there. No need to try to victimise yourself in an attempt to make me look like the bad guy, either.

Aside from that, it is very relevant to the reason why you enjoy these games, hence why it was worth mentioning.

Define "jack you off" and "integrity."

No.

Being dragged into a discussion of semantics and linguistics would be almost as dull as it is pointless. We both know what I'm saying and no amount of insane troll logic is going to help you weasel your way around it.

Oh, but there's never any need for me to do so.

How is that flattery? I deeply regret that decision.

No.

Yes, you're saying that mature games for mature gamers such as yourself must possess bleak and hopeless endings because the fantasy space monsters were designed to not have sufficient weaknesses. Which I'll accept so long as you can accept the existence of possibilities for other endings.

Why would I?

ME3 consistently has a complete disregard for choice and consequence and absolutely loves railroading. Nobody else seems to mind so why should I?

Now EA is a company I can hate. They have sealed the fate of to many games by rushing development times. Make a movement against the mega corp publishers, that would actually have a good effect.

Yes, but they're very well-shielded and the only means to attack them (that would be legal, anyway) are wholly financial. It's possible that Bioware would be a necessary sacrifice.

You do realize what your saying right? If you "brought" down Bioware, that would result in tons of people losing their jobs. Nobody deserves that, no matter how bad the endings are to a GAME

I know right, these buttthurt fools want hard working people who are trying to feed their families and put a roof over their heads to lose their jobs over something as petty as not being able to get a rainbows and bunnies ending with their virtual waifus/manfus.

If you actually paid any attention, people aren't upset because there isn't a rainbows and bunnies ending.

Most are.

If it's an issue with the writing and the lack of c&c well then they should also focus the majority of their complaints to, well, the rest of the game .

Whatever lesser issues of such people might otherwise post about have evidently been swept away by the ending rage.

This post makes us gamers look like drama queen dork holes

You are drama queen dork holes.

If chucking a hissy fit just because a videogame didn't have a happy ending doesn't make you a "drama queen dork hole" then nothing does.

Whatever issues you have with Xilizhra take it out of this thread jeez!

This has nothing to do with him.

I made an entire thread addressing this very issue of "childish gamers ruining games and complaining about the endings for the wrong reasons".

It was quite popular.

So, how is a customer who is complaining about a product that failed to deliver promised features, 'childish'?  If you need me to throw out the piles of advertisements & dev quotes proving that, going all the way to the day after release, I'll be more than happy to.

Ive ran lots of polls on this subject..from what ive gathered, its the fact that people didnt get the closure they wanted to the story, the ending feeling like it had nothing to do with the underlying theme of the game and the little plotholes that made the final scenes possible thats upsetting a lot of people.

edit: of course theres Origin, and the Javik pay-to-play day-1 DLC....and tali's photoshopptastic face. But thats another story.

That's because these "lesser issues" don't interfere with the beating off of the player.

So long as the game keeps its lips firmly around the stubby girth of the player then no amount of character assassination, inconsitency or plot holes is going to be too big of a deal.

God, I'm just repeating myself.

AT this point I'm thinking the ending of ME3 wasn't really the ending of ME3 and we have yet to see the beginning of real DLC abuse.

Just my take on the situation.

Because of the reasoning behind said complaints and how the customer is more then happy to overlook all the other lies and betrayals provided it doesn't interfere with jacking them off.

See my locked thread if you're interested.

Well, I believe do this is the reason atleast half the people upset with the endings are upset with them.

I believe their exact words are "I didn't get to have my little blue chillen!"

I've seen someone say this in just about every thread.

so what you're saying is, the ending being bad doesnt matter because we glossed over too many inconsistencies?
