It just feels .. empty, so meaningless to play again.
It just feels like while I'm watching the movie on TV and at the end of the great movie, someone just changed the channel.

Couldn't have said it better myself!

Yup. Decided not to do a replay or import a different shep from ME 2. Like many others I was going to play through starting from 1 again but no more of that either.

Sadly, yes.

I play games to escape the realities of the real world, to be someone you know you could never be. To go to places that only exist in your imagination and dreams.

And now, even that imaginary world has been destroyed.
All the choices taken, friendships made, love found, and allies forged in this amazing journey, have been for naught because of the one destination forced upon us.

Why repeat all that again when you know where everyone and you are going to end up.

It's very sad to see that even things such as video games can be such a huge let down. Isn't real life bad enough already? Can't we have what we want in the imaginary world at least?

Commander Shepard deserved better.

Truely and honestly did that ending really ruin a amazing game which start to all the way to the ending run was amazing. In my opinion it wasn't all that terrible..Granted it was a desus ex machina but then again so was the crucbile it self if you think about it.

The plot was about gathering an army, but it made no difference whether the army was there or not there, because conventional warfare was THAT ineffective.

I wouldn't say it completely ruined the game for me, but I'm far less enthusiastic about revisiting the universe.

It didn't really ruin the game. But it effectively stopped me from wanting to play it again right away. You know, kinda like when the Architect and Neo spoke in the Matrix, but without the possibility to say "no" to the architect to stop the cycle.
I just didn't want to see my other Shepards go the same way... I did start another playthgouh though, and I still love the game. I'm just not going to attack that cerberus base when the time comes.

Yes, it did. That tends to happen when you kill off the entire concept of a fictional universe in the last minutes and rewrite all the characters to fit the script.
I don't even remember how I felt about ME3 before the ending, I just know it was the best game ever and then it became something else entirely.

Yes.

It nullifies the entire franchise by eliminating choice and consequence, the cornerstones that Mass Effect is built and advertised on; in favour of literally destroying those concepts at the last possible moment with no explaination with a generic A, B or C ending relating only loosely to war assets.

Yes, everyone is dead or trapped on some dead end world. I really want to buy the next Bioware game so I can feel like a failure again.

The game itself? No, I've enjoyed the countless hours I spent on Mass Effect 1/2, and the 25'ish hours up till the end that I spent on 3. Did it ruin any possible replays through one of the best RPG's I've played in 27 years of playing video games? Yes. Which to me is worse.

Bioware achieved something I doubt any other developer has ever done:

The fact that Bioware has made their 5 year spanning franchise replay value go from enormous to absolutely non existing in well under 5 minutes. So those plans of playing the series all over again for different results? Not gonna happen anymore.

It's an outright disgrace in my opinion, because this was my favorite game series of all time.. heart broken to say the least.

I agree 100%. Still...all things considered, I'm certainly going to play ME3 again. Only that right now it'll be an amazing game with an...odd (to put it mildly) ending.

Yes, it has. I haven't opened Origin in a while. I tried playing MP a little but, but I played it so much during the Demo that it's actually really boring. The "ending" totally ruined the game and left a bad taste in my mouth. I really liked everything else before it though.

Yes, I have no will to play now. If within 30 days there's no news, I'll be getting a full refund.

IT ruined all 3 games in the series and my respect for Bioware. You can't advertise a product and have people buy it and then deliver something else. If I wanted Gears of War I'd have played Gears of War. Player driven story was the appeal of ME 1 and the promise of the ME series and that all went away in 10 minutes of the end of this.
