Yes. It not only ruined the game but the entire trilogy as a whole.
So did it honestly ruin the game for you?

One wrong note at the end can sour the whole song. I was planning out my next Shep, a self-sacrificing messiah figure trying to atone for past ruthlessness, and I was all excited for a massive three-game journey, but then I got to the end and... I just can't bring myself to go back to the very beginning when I know this is all that's in store. There's really just the one ending, and... ugh.
Just read this.

Game, franchise, company, publisher... I won't quit playing video games, but that's the only level undamaged by this.
It is a disrespectful effort on so many different levels it's not funny. Writers who don't care about games. Producers who don't care about story. Developers who don't care about quality.
The assumption that you have a right to the customers money and that it is somehow over the top for them to get upset when you utterly fail to deliver, or even attempt to live up to all the marketing you've put out.
So. Much. Rage.

Yup, not just ME, but full on Bioware brand damage.

Yes it actually ruined the whole franchise for me, knowing that none of my choices actually mattered means there's no point to replaying any of the games.

I truly want to say no but I have to say yes. The ending ruined the game for me. When I started ME3, I had the full intention of playing a new game from ME1 to ME3 again once I finished it. I rarely have more than an hour a day to play any game so it would have taken a while—but that would have been perfect, since by the time I started ME3 again, they would have released a lot of new DLC content. I can’t bring myself to do that now. Perhaps I will after the memory of how I felt when the credits rolled by fades, but flashbulb memories have a tendency to linger for a long time.
That being said, I still support Bioware and I hope that they have learned a very valuable lesson in audience testing their games should they choose to make a new trilogy.
