yes, in all other Bioware games after i finish my first play through i start a new one right away. I've been done with 3 for almost a week and cannot bring myself to start a new game. It sucks

It did better than that, it ruined both ME1 and ME2 with it.

How amazing is that.

Yep, it completely butchered the ME series for me. I haven't put a single ME game back in my box since I beat it a couple days after release.

Yes, yes it did. In fact, it ruined the previous two games as well. How good the rest of the game was just makes it worse.

Yes. the game was great untill the last 10 minutes, it just crumbled down then, no sense to play 1, 2 or 3 ever again like this, i mean whats the point. BW you made the best game i have ever played, honest to god, this wrecked WoW, swtor, skyrim, nothing had anything against the series, untill these last few minutes, strange how this is possible.

No it did not, the Mass Effect series is still and will always be my favorite and the greatest one ever told.

Regardless of it's ending (which I believe doesn't exist since it's "Open for interpretation" which is pretty much saying make up your own ending) I believe in my own theory and to that end, I got the ending that I longed for.

Did it ruin the game for me? Not at all. Then again, I thought it was a good ending.

Truely and honestly did that ending really ruin a amazing game which start to all the way to the ending run was amazing. In my opinion it wasn't all that terrible..Granted it was a desus ex machina but then again so was the crucbile it self if you think about it.

Nothing can.

Yes!  Completely tanks any motivation whatsoever to take up another playthrough.  Not even interested in MP because PvP was left out.  The only reason I still have my M3 copy is because I'm waiting to see how the ending will be handled.

All but the last 10 minutes was true epic gaming. I was trying to replay it from ME1, but knowing what the ending is going to be makes it really tough to get excited about. On the other hand, going from ME3 to ME1 is real eye opening on how advanced the combat, story and game mechanics have come.

All except for those last blasted 10 minutes. I don't know if I would go so far as to say 'ruined', but it certainly 'tarnished' the experience on an otherwise stellar game series.

It was so terrible that it sucked out from me all the desire to replay.

Do YOU want to play the game again? ME1 or ME3? Despite knowing that what you do won't mean anything at all?

It really did. I'm trying to do a second playthrough but it's hard knowing that ending is waiting for me. I was going to do a marathon of all three but now I know it's pointless because the ending will be the same anyway.

+1 to the "ruined the whole franchise" crowd.

Finishing ME for the first time I immediately bought the sequel.

Finishing ME2 I went back to start ME1 again and was crying out for more.

Finishing ME3 I just feel disappointed and with absolutely no drive to play any more Mass Effect. I toy about in multiplayer but I've got no urge to go back to either of the two previous or to start a new character in ME3.

It just ruined my enjoyment of ME3. I can still play ME1 and 2 but ME3's ending just ruined the third game for me.

"Ruin" is a strong word.

Did it affect my enjoyment and will to play negatively?
Most definitely, the whole series feels sullied.

I've spent a large chunck of the day reading these forums instead of playing, I think that says alot.

No. I'm at Thessia on my 2nd playthrough. The journey was great enough that one bad ending didn't ruin everything for me.

The last 10 minutes of the game...

Introduced God-Kid with the Diablos ex Machina.
Made Harbinger not make sense.
Made Saren and Sovereign's story pointless.
Made Reapers boring.
Gave no closure.
Made Shepard an idiot and a coward.
Made my entire team cowards.
Destroyed everything I built.
Killed pretty much everybody.
Made my made choices meaningless.
Destroyed the Mass Effect universe.

Yep. I've wanted to try out a few different playthroughs (of all 3 games), but each time I'm stopped by the knowledge of what lies at the end. If my decisions don't ultimately matter, then it's hard to go through all the trouble of making them.

It didn't ruin it completely for me, but it sure took a chunk out of my pleasure. It has also shaken my nearly unshakeable faith in BioWare writers.

Yes, it really did. I experience physical pain in my chest when I think about playing any of it again. I am deflated.

the more i think about it...and even pretty much after I first finished it...all I really wanted was some little bit of closure letting me know what happened to everyone and everything after Sheperd entired a beam/distroyed the power conduit. Did everyone on the Citadel die? What happened to Wrex? and all that. It wasn't so much that I hated what was happening at the end...just felt like it ended about 5 minutes too early.
and I know...they did that on purpose...
