Mars Archives? Fine.
Palaven's moon: So, in the war for the galaxy, Shepard goes to Palaven's moon to extract the Turian primarch. The moon is the staging area for the Battle of Palaven. However, when you are on the moon there are only like 20 Turians there and it feels like all that is there are a couple military outposts, not the staging area for the battle for the Turian home planet. It also seems a little contrived that you just happen to run into Garrus here, even if his presence is explained (people remembered he had experience with Reapers).
Sur'kesh: I guess this is ok since it isn't a battle against the Reapers but instead is a simple extraction gone wrong due to Cerberus. However, Cerberus motives for interfering seem so one dimensional at this point :-/
Tuchanka: this actually felt like a much bigger area and I thought it was fine.
Rannoch: this was fine.
Thessia: this was fine, as we were just attempting to retrieve an artifact.
Earth: this was the best one. The area wasn't necessarily huuuuge, but it gave you the feel of a huge battle going on.
Anyone feel like the areas were too small? (Battles, etc.)?
