 Ok i was looking for HD textures, but one of the mod i was dowloading was removed and the other seems that dont engage the texture. Will bioware release some HD Pack?

You'll have to wait for the modding community to release a full set of HD textures. I cant see Bioware investing time into something that modders will have done soon enough.

I doubt you'll ever see HD textures released by Bioware as it's not a bug that needs fixing, but rather is a subjective complaint by some. I thought there was already a HD Texture Mod over at dragonagenexus though? Is it gone?

I believe there are two different HD texture mods over at Dragon Age Nexus. One keeps the same texture size, and won't impact performance. They just used a sharpen filter on all the textures. The other mod increased the texture size, and then did a sharpen filter basically.



They do look sharper, but I'm not sure they make the game look more realistic. What the game needs is a proper texture mod of newly created, high-res textures. Or Bioware could offer higher-res textures. It is possible they used high-res artwork to begin with, and then saved at a lower-res before shipping. But you rarely see companies put out texture maps themselves.

I run the game with forced (nhancer) AF16 and it looks pretty good w/o a texture pack, though pixelation shows up on character gear (robes especially) during conversations. I'm tired of seeing that on so-called modern games. Currently trying to d/l the 2048x2048 texture pack (modified originals) for now. It'll be awhile before someone with resources is able to provide entirely new texture replacements in HD.



A suggestion for Bioware: from now on please ship whatever fits on the disc, but provide HD textures as an optional download for those of us with decent systems and big displays. Thanks.

The could easily release a blu-ray version of the game in the stores which could hold much more data... hell all ps3 games are blu-ray anyway.
