Just got archived while i was loading into a topic. I was at the site perusing, clicked a topic, and in the 1 second it took to pop up, they archived it. I just laughed and came here...:o

Darn, it's a shame. There were some really funny, funny posts over there that I adored looking back on. Good times.

Better times here? We'll see. ;P

Edit: The short form of ****ation is now an asterisked word? <_

Lol I had just posted a topic there when it went down. I guess I will post it again here. It wasn't anything big, just a small question.

Haha. I'll miss those forums. I still find them far superior to these ones, but I think these ones have sort of grown on me...

Or maybe I've just begrudgingly accepted them.

We're working to make these forums better, stronger, faster with more bells and whistles as we progress.  Hopefully you'll come to enjoy the Social Site as much as you enjoyed the old forums.

Let us not dwell in the past, but move forward into the light of the future hoping it is not the headlamp of an oncoming train. ;)

These forums are ok, and I think I actually like them more than the old one.

However, the old forum just had a very nice community that hopefully will carry over to this place very well.

So far so good it seems!

Also, are the other games going to be moved over here eventually? If so, it's an honor that We got to be the game community that migrated first!

The main thing I dont like about these fourms is there us no easy way to jump to the bioware post in a topic. In the old fourms you could click on the bioware icon next to the topic and you would see the orgional post and all dev/bioware post made in that topic. I have not found a way to do that on these fourms yet. It realy helped to cut through the bull **** in the topics.

Edit: Double post. My post did not display for a while after I made it so I reposted it only for it to show up 2 more times.

These fourms feel way slower then the old ones.

And that is my biggest peeve with these forums .. no "jump to first new post" in a topic button.

Other than that .. it's readable even on my laptop which I am suprised.

Anyway to change the layout to wide aspect so that the actual forum content uses more than the middle 1/3 of my monitor? Its 2009, surely 16:9 and 16:10 are more common than 4:3 and 5:4 panels now?

I will be stealing that.

Your evil smilie just isn't the same.

I did like the previous forums a lot more...these feel a bit cramped...but they also feel... I don't know, I guess it marks the transition from the game being months a way to a few scant hours away. It's so close. Like this forum? xD

But I'm really looking forward to the game. At this point, I couldn't care less if DAO forums went to ProBoards or whatnot. I want the game!

I'm not much of a fan of the massive avatars which take up a big amount of space, I don't like all the popup menus iether. I've got a big computer screen so all the content is squashed in to the middle of the page with these two massive grey borders along the side. It be nice if they could space things out a little bit.
