Do you wish Mass Effect 3 got delayed by a whole year, or keep it the way it is now?

Without a doubt.

Heck, I would have paid $40 now and $40 next summer if they had split it in half (and been honest about it upfront).

How would extra time have helped the ending? The team decided that this ending is how they wanted it to be and it wasn't due to time constraints.

You sure about that?

Definitely would have waited, because I would prefer a complete product later than an incomplete product now

It's like you're trying to say something...I mean, I'm seeing English words...but they just don't...........make.........any.....*cue oily tendrils of shadow*.....ah, yes. I see. This is the intended ending. It wasn't due to time constraints. I understand now.

Would've waited, though I don't see why it would take a whole year more to develope endings that don't suck. =/

I would have gladly waited. ME1 and ME2 could hold me over forever.

I wish it had been delayed for as long as BioWare needed it to be delayed to make it as complete as they themselves wished it to be complete. I don't have actual evidence, but I do strongly feel that they ran out of time, and that ultimately the game wasn't "released", it escaped their grasp. I'm sure they wanted to keep working on it (excluding DLCs).

I always tell people about baking (yes, I am a dude that loves to bake, bite me): Take your time and follow every step, cutting corner will only screw it up. And the Ending is pretty much the result of ppl cutting corner/being lazy.

So yes, I would rather wait a WHOLE year if they can get a much better ending that:
1) reflect all the choices we made before
2) involve our LI
3) endings that involve either a heroic sacrifice or happy ending (either way works, but must have both option open:devil:)

Look at StarCraft 2, they delay that for almost a year and the product is pretty damn good, with a great storyline to boot (yes, SC2 does have a storyline.)^_^

I would have rather waited.  Now I'll always remember playing ME3 and being grossly dissappointed.

I would have waited longer and paid more for a better game.

I would have waited. The desire to play the game earlier does not outweigh my need to see the franchise done to justice.

If it meant a better ending and less repetitive enemies, I would have gladly waited.

No problem with waiting, as long as the game is worth the wait

Why is a final boss so important? One of things Bioware did right in the ending is not having a final boss. It makes no sense. The Reapers en masse are the final boss(es).

But no, a whole year is not even remotely proportional to the extra content you describe. You could make half a decent game in that time.

I would've been fine with waiting as long as we saw the consequences of our actions.

And we did, in some (usually quite minor) cases, but on the big scale... everything I did all game should've built up to the ending. It didn't. You get the same or very similar choices regardless.

It already got delayed to add useless features to it, didn't it? I really doubt they'd have to delay the game to make the ending not awful: just write a not awful ending.

Would have waited for sure. I regret buying/playing the game. The week of misery and inability to play any ME ever again isn't worth 20 hours of fun.

 I would have gladly waited.

They delayed it once before (it was originally supposed to be a Holiday 2011 release), but held off after the DA2 debacle.

They could have held off another year to really develop this and that would have been fine.

Happily. There are lots of other games out there that would have kept me busy. It would have been totally worth it.

If it takes them a year to make a coherent and satisfying ending(s) I don't know what to say.

I would wait. One year of waiting is nothing compared to feeling I got after that ending.
