yes. for a more varied ending.
i have now now decided to include my brothers over seas. we demand another ending
Do you wish Mass Effect 3 got delayed by a whole year, or keep it the way it is now?

I would have felt bummed out about waiting, but ultimately if those things OP mentioned (although I could take or leave a boss fight) were done well and done completely I'd have been grateful in the end that they cared more about the product to make sure it was 100% perfect. I totally agree that this game reeks of cut corners, mishandled "resources" and incorrect priorities.
ME3 is the first game I ever personally pre-ordered, first game I ever bought a collectors edition and I feel totally burned and not likely ever to do that again. I just loved the series so much up until this point that I never would have imagined they'd mess up so badly.

I'd have been willing to wait years for an ending that actually did the series justice.

Obviously, yes. People would still complain while waiting for it, but we'd all shut up once the game came out and blew us away. As it is now, I kind of wish we could all just send our games back to Bioware for them to work on the ending some more.

I would've waited any amount of time to not have this ending.

I would have been fine waiting another year if....
1) Fix the Journal, make the sidequests actually involve you doing something other than fetching something and running back. (I wanted to land on Dekuuna and see the Elcor warriors)
2) Fix the ending (no need for explaination here)
3) Expand on romance moments for characters other than Liara, Liara had a lot of scenes like her "Project" for the next cycle to destroy the reapers. Or the talks with her on the citadel. At least have the other LI have comparable dialogue. As it is, Liara is heavily favored.
4) Roster of characters wasn't so bland...I was expecting a Krogan squadmate. (Wrex). Instead we have...three humans, an Asari, a Turian, a Quarian, a prothean (dlc only), and an AI. I would have swapped out Vega for Wrex. And maybe added a Salarian squadmate. Gotta represent the galaxy in a fight for THE GALAXY.

I sure as hell would've waited. And as someone else put it, we're still waiting right now.

To get an all time great game that is the crowning achievement of the ME series then I'd certainly wait a year or two or even more just to get things right.

I'd gladly accept waiting another year for all that.

I'm patient. A year can go faster than you think.
