This has happened to me twice. I'm just enjoying a MP match and the game suddenly freezes completely, forcing me to turn off my PS3 which causes a system restore.
Has anyone else experienced this?. It's very annoying when you're playing on Gold and as a Salarian Engineer, you're the backbone of the team.
Experiencing game freeze.

This keeps happening to me as well. When playing a MP match or the single player campaign. Will there be a patch to resolve this? and when?

Try ejecting the disk if you get a freeze, this will cause a soft reset to XMB and you will avoid the restore process.

didn't work for me, have to do a hard reset all the time. I"m hoping the patch will fix this.

Same here... on my 1st single player run it only happend on the galaxy map when entering a new system (4 times). The bad part was that it froze while autosaving, thank god it didn't corrupt anything. Today it froze in MP in the 11th wave, there was massive biotic usage here, so many effects, had similiar issues with Mass Effect 2... Then I started my Insanity run today, it froze after disabling the "Doctor" on Mars at the end of the mission right in the video sequence...
