It's been over 24 hours and my ME2 game is registered here but it still won't allow me to post in any of the forums. Anybody know what's going on?

Are you sure you aren't trying to post in the ME3 forums?

I'm positive. I tried to post in ME3's general discussion and that didn't work so I went to ME2's forums and non of those worked as well. I don't know what's wrong.

You're not SUPPOSED to be able to post in any game-registration-required forums other than the one that you connected to your Avatar in your Forum Profile, so only the various ME-2 spoiler and tech forums are supposed to work. The ME3 General Forum is open to anyone who logs in on a regular account here; you must be trying to add comments to locked threads in that forum, or ignored the name of the place.

I'm not trying to comment on locked threads and I'm not ignoring the names. This isn't the first forum I've ever joined, I'm not a complete noob.

What does it say?

"You don't meet the requirements to post in this forum"?

Yes, that's what it says.

It will say that if it's a locked thread, and if it's an announcements only forum, as well as a registered owner only forum.  It's some kind of catch-all error message, and used to show up when the servers were too busy to hndle a new post.  Now, when that happens, the new message is thrown away, and the software lies when it tells us the comment was actually posted.

Since the majority of questions posted belong to new members with very little experience, people should expect such an elementary answer, deal with it, and go on their business without acting wounded and upset for no reason.

I figured it out guys. I was looking around my account stuff trying to figure out what was wrong and I noticed my xbox live gamertag was not associated with my account. I must have used the wrong email so I fixed it and now it works. Silly me :P

And I'm not wounded or upset btw. I was just stating a fact but now that I've re-read it I see that it does come off as rude, so sorry about that.
