This is the worst RPG I have played in a while, since one I played a couple years ago which is virtually identical (and never finished because it sucked too). None of the reviews mention the fact that this game uses the totally unfun system of not actually traveling in the world but clicking on a location on the map and traveling there automatically with a stop in the middle when you are attacked. The big difference in this game is that it uses this method to stop you everywhere and try and sell you more content. I am sorry, but when I buy a game I expect to get the whole game with the admission price, call me crazy. Then add to that that the combat systems sucks and the quest system doesn't work and 95% of the game is listenening to conversation. Most quests give you absolutely no idea where to go. Some say go to the place marked on the map but there isn't a place marked on the map. some quests have mini-map pointers which works but most don't, even in a city. Worse, the places on the map aren't named the same as the quest so it's impossible to find anything except by trial and error. Mostly I am mad because reviews don't actually tell you anything about a game or gameplay so i wasted my money on this steaming heap and I don't even get a complete or working game. I have been playing rpg's since before most of you were born and this kind of rpg wouldn't even rate a 1 on a scale of 10. It is incomplete, unplayable and it sucks. It wouldn't be so bad if the quest system worked and the combat system didn't suck but if they did this kind of game isn't fun.

I agree that this game is the worst RPG of all time, that is if today is opposite day. Don't play Starcrat 2 is all I can tell you because Blizzard is going to charge for all 3 parts of the game then charge for premium content. If you don't have the cash to play these game then find a different hobby.

I tried to read this, but my brain intercepted it and processed it so it came out as "Waaa!!! Waaaa!!! Waaaaa!!!" with a memo saying "thats all you need to know, this post is Troll".

"and 95% of the game is listenening to conversation"

Thank the Maker for that!! Hopefully future Bio games will be the same! :-)

Anyways, sucks for you that you didn't like it... before buying a game, you should play the demo.

...and now is where I recommend Oblivion to you... but then again, we're talking about RPGs, so better forget that. I don't think I have any good RPG to recommend without 95% dialog. :-(

FYI: RPG's that I think are great. The Gothic series despite the bugs. Demon's Souls. The king's Field series on the PS (especially the Ancient City). Final Fanatasy. Oblivion. Bioshock. Mass Effect. Dungeon Siege. Diablo. Resident Evil. Darkstone. Rune.

All of which I have played more than once and will probably play again.

Dragon Age isn't even in the same planet as these, let alone the ball park.

Does anyone agree this game is a suped up Dungeon Siege?
This game is great tho, if I have one problem is that TACTICS seem a little bit broken, to much having to pause and click exactly what I would want for each and every second of a battle gets a little non-fun sometimes but only cause it cuts into the action of a nice fight.

This is one of the best RPG's ever made. Stop moaning, half the things you mention on your post is inaccurate, go play Modern Warfare 2 or something like that. It's obvious to me that RPG's aren't for you.

While I hate to make sweeping generalisations, anyone who claims that Resident Evil is one of their fave RPGs isn't really qualified to judge RPGs.

Nothing wrong with Resident Evil, but it is no RPG. It makes me question what you were expecting when you walked into DA:O.

I would assume that if you complain that "95% of the game is listening to conversation" you lack the mental focus it takes to actually read a quest log. Enchantment!

Just to let all the losers know that I drive a 50,000 dollar car,  (as well as a 20,000 dollar bike) yes very sad indeed lol. What is truly sad is the intelligent responses and the fact that everyone has so little experience with rpg's that they think this game is good (not to mention so little experience with the english language)

Bioshock and Resident Evil are not really RPGs by any definition, Dungeon Siege is a party based Diablo rip-off (and those are both Dungeon HacknSlash).

So i take it that you've never encountred Baldurs Gate 1 + 2, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights 1 + 2, KOTOR 1 + 2....several of which are widely considered to be classic of CRPG's, in fact PC Gamer lists FOUR of them as "Must Have" CRPG's.

Hilarious that you list Mass Effect as one that you liked, since it was made by the same company and follows many of the same gaming rules as DA:O, including the dialogue, the click-on-map travel, the party...etc etc

Edit: Oh, and waving around statements about how expensive your car/bike/dog/miniature giant space hampster is, does NOT make you look impressive. And you've made several sweeping comments about talking to children and similar insults, these just make you look like a child yourself. Please quit it.
