Fair enough, I stand corrected. Easy mistake to make though, considering...
Point being that they all have strong similarities to DA:O, and that they haven't disappeared into the mists of time. Actually, I'm getting a hankering to dig them out and replay them XD
Yep the point still stands, all those games have lasted the test of time (although Icewind Dale might be a little bit of a stretch but I loved it) and DA is the successor to those, But what would we know, we dont have the OP's experience, or a $50,000 car.

Just to let all the losers know that I drive a 50,000 dollar car, (as well as a 20,000 dollar bike) yes very sad indeed lol. What is truly sad is the intelligent responses and the fact that everyone has so little experience with rpg's that they think this game is good (not to mention so little experience with the english language)
I find it odd that someone would state that they were playing RPG's since before most of us were born would use the kind of slang as losers, lol, heap, etc. And where in your list are RPG's that came out before we were born?
Are you sure your car was $50,000?

I was going to say the same to you, except you probably never will either if you know so little about Corvettes. The only people who hate Corvettes are the people that know they can't beat one or will never be able to own one.
err... "beat one" --- what, with a stick?
How old are you, 12?

WTF does your supposed car have to do with this game?
In response to a post about the money the game cost me, it was an unfortunate attempt to demonstrate that it wasn't about the money. Too many attack posts and too much caffeine this morning = flames, rants and things said that shouldn't have been said.

Hey now, so you can discuss without trying to emphasize your greatness? I'm relieved. Behold the power of the Moderatorsfourthrocker wrote...
Thanks for the reply and I'm sorry for some of the things I said. I am not used to moderators actually posting to threads. Most forums the only thing they do is delete posts and lock threads. This game is not a steaming pile and some of the other things I said I shouldn't have either. If some of my posts came off as trolling my apologies for that too but you have to admit some of these replies are pretty ignorant and they set me off. I feel that what I posted earlier should stay, right or wrong, dumb or dumber, so I am not going to edit it out so i look better. I am what I am, warts and all.

I ask again, since now its been about 5 hours...why, if you have such an awesome car...are you here, and not out on the roads?
Or...you know, go play a game you enjoy.
Oh, and to pre-answer your most obvious reply....lm waiting for my wife to stop playing Dragonage so l can.
The obvious answer isn't so obvious, it's put away for the winter, they don't handle too well in the snow. Which is also why I am using the computer now.

As long as you're sharing financial info, what's your retirement savings balance? You'd better have broken a million, because otherwise spending $70k on depreciating assets you could easily have purchased at one-third the cost is the height of stupidity at your age. How's your asset allocation? Have you purchased long-term care insurance? Will/living will/power of attorney updated? Have you considered a revocable trust?
How can we verify your critique of the game is correct when we don't even know if you prefer Vanguard or Fidelity??

That's the best part. The majority of players in this forum are adults because RPGs tend to attract a more mature fanbase, plus Dragon Age is an adult rated game. The gaming industry is still fairly new, and as far as I'm aware there weren't any RPGs before the mid 70s. So how could he have played so many RPGs before we were born, RPGs which according to logic, couldn't have even existed before we were born?thisisme8 wrote...

Resident Evil 1, and Tomb Raider 1 for that matter, are classics that will be played and remembered long after this game is forgotten (which will be next year).
Next year? I see...
You think this game will not be forgotten after next year? Reminds me of one day in college back around 85. The kid sitting next to me was writing Dokken on his desktop for a while, a real fanboy. I told him Dokken would be totally forgotten in a couple years. He was outraged. When was the last time anyone heard Dokken on the radio? LOL
Dont come here with " I am rubber, you are glue".
Lol, you are so funny when you try to be serious.
And you have your computer specs as your signature for what reason? Talk about the kettle calling the pot a name (black in case you're too young to have heard that or ever read a book).
My reasons for that is simple.
It makes it more easy for others to understand why i run the game the way i do. Problems, graphic settings etc.
Are you really that new to forums??? lol.
If you really think I am that young, then you are greatly mistaken, like you are with nearly everything else you write.
C'mon, was that your best shot?
How many other people here are doing that? If I am having a problem I'll post my dxdiag when necessary not use my computer specs at the bottom of every post. Come on, admit it's just bragging like I was doing.
It's very common in many forums, you know that, don't you?
And what is so special about my specs anyway? I don't get it.
One thing that is not very common, is people bragging about their cars on a Bioware forum!
Don't try and be smart now, LOL.

OP, go put your character from DAO into your Bioware account. We at least want some proof you played the game and own a legit copy.

Interesting diagnosis, but I'm fairly certain the mental health community has not recognized being a nerd as a mental disorder quite yet. Maybe it will make it into the DSM V.
I'm hoping that the new manual will include diagnostic criteria for a hybrid (using Million's descriptors) infantile-disingenuous histrionic personality disorder. It would be nice for the psychiatric community to finally recognize chronic trollism and provide helpful therapeutic and pharmacological solutions. The common folk remedy of using flames to purge the disease unfortunately only aggravates the problem. As a proponent of better living through biochemistry, I'm hopeful that researchers will discover some sort of drug regimen to help sufferers control their disruptive posting habits.
Some days, though, I think trolls really just need frontal lobotomies accompanied by shock therapy.

Unfortunately not. A lot of the posts here have been nothing but insults, or extremely childish. Not all of them are though.
