Just to let all the losers know that I drive a 50,000 dollar car,  (as well as a 20,000 dollar bike) yes very sad indeed lol. What is truly sad is the intelligent responses and the fact that everyone has so little experience with rpg's that they think this game is good (not to mention so little experience with the english language)

Yeah? Well my dad is bigger than your dad.

Geez, do you not realise how you come across?

How exactly does one ''write intelligently''? And how can it be ''hard to write to children''? That ''hard part'' would be on the reader's side, right.

Face it, you are the worst troll ever, and you should go hand in your license at the troll office downtown.

I personally don't care what car you drive and my grasp on the English language is fine thanks. Stop telling everyone how much money you have and what gas guzzling american pile of cack you drive, you are a snob!!!

Or just foolish? Some realy rich people aren't smart at all... I will better be not-so-rich, but smart enough not to write heresy like quoted above ;D

I just want everyone to know I drive a $5 billion space shuttle to work every day, where all I do is eat hot dogs and slurp around a water cooler. I've also played every game ever, because I was actually born back in Egypt in 10,000 BC, but we discovered the eternal youth shrine and I've just been chillin' up to now, so I'm much older than all of you kids and infinitely richer.

PS: The world isn't ending in 2012, that's just when I had to get a new calendar, jeez.

I have been playing rpg's since before most of you were born

Somehow I see it more likely that we've all been playing RPGs since before you were born.

fourthrocker wrote...

But you all are right, it's hard for children to write intelligently.

Fixed.

My guess is that you've picked up this game, played it for a few minutes then put it back down. You have to give RPGs time to pull you in, they don't give you instant action like FPS and RTS games.

So if this game is so great why aren't you all playing it instead of trolling this website and a simple criticism of the game? By the way, criticizing a game isn't trolling, but most of the responses to that criticism are.

If I could borrow your space shuttle for a couple of weeks next year, would that be ok? Lol

You people all say "troll, troll, troll" yet you keep this thread in the first page with 30-something+ responses in it. Either the troll is a manipulative genius or you are blind to irony.

Either way - let this die.

FYI: RPG's that I think are great. The Gothic series despite the bugs. Demon's Souls. The king's Field series on the PS (especially the Ancient City). Final Fanatasy. Oblivion. Bioshock. Mass Effect. Dungeon Siege. Diablo. Resident Evil. Darkstone. Rune.

All of which I have played more than once and will probably play again.

Dragon Age isn't even in the same planet as these, let alone the ball park.

Those aren't real RPGs mostly they are action RPG's with very little emphasis on the RP part.

Basically you bought the wrong game, you can blame... yourself.

I still don't understand why these topics lure us into it like a flame to a moth. He just sounds and writes so much like a few others I've met in other forums or even here, that if they had an IP check made, one of his accounts might get banned.

English is not my primary language and I can speak, write and format my sentences better than he does. And I doubt anyone but the OP would disagree with me. Believe me pal, you may even have money, but you are so poor that I feel pity for you.

It's you being ignorant about RPGs here, not everybody else. What you don't know is that there were always two basic kinds of RPGs:

1.) The so called "sandbox" RPGs, where you can roam freely through the world. These RPGs are mostly not that story-driven, at least in comparison to the second variant of RPGs. Therefore they focus more on collecting items and discovering the game world. Conversation is also limited.

2.) The narrative or story-driven RPGs. The bigger emphasis towards the story is possible because the game is much more linear. In a sandbox RPG the developers can never predict what the player's geoing to do next, so they cannot use triggers, story twists etc. so often. In a narrative RPG this is easily possible. This also means that conversations happen much more frequently and they're longer.

So indeed, your knowledge of RPGs seems very limited and it is your fault that you bought the game with obviously limited informations. Better inform yourself the next time. ;)

Actually it's more like "flame baiting".

You didn't post critisism you posted that the game was not what you thought it was, but if you had researched BEFORE you bought it you would have known that it was a story driven RPG just as the previous games from Bioware (Baldurs Gate and Neverwinter Nights).

Half of those aren't RPG's, dimwit.
