When starting the final mission the cutscenes start to lose sound, skip and then freeze up. I notice when this starts to happen the xbox stops spinning the disc. Eventually it just gave up loading the cutscenes and died on the loading screen when begining the mission. The save file is fine, I can load one just before the mission starts where I am on the Normandy and everything works as it should.
The one time I managed to get through and start the mission it crashed and I had to restart the console. Now I can't even get that far.
I'm currently unable to finish the game due to this problem. Any ideas on how I can fix it? I tried to install the game but it gets to 38% and then the xbox says the disc is unreadable.

If you can't install it then your disc is faulty. You should take the disc back to the shop and get it exchanged for a new copy.
Nothing else will fix this except maybe cleaning the disc.

Only downside is I have the n7 edition and Amazon may be unable to exchange it. I'll give them a try and see what they say.
