I feel that BioWare kinda went soft on the romance segments in the game. Almost too short. I have a playthrough that Liara is my LI but I almost feel it doesn't feel that way! I have a playthrough that Garrus is my LI and he seems to be the only character that seems to show any interest in my Shepard? Taking me up to the Presidium seem like a picnic date!
I don't know I thought this being the last game of the Trilogy they might of made more attempts to push the romance options. Also I know Mass Effect 3 is a mature game but it seems like they're catering to teenagers? I mean who takes a shower with a braw on?
I mean I almost want to go through a playthrough and romance nobody because I feel like I wouldn't be missing much!
Are you happy with the Romances?

Uh, no, not happy at all.
But if it's any consolation, you fared far better than some of us.

Yes. Waited years to be able to have my GayShep be with someone, and I got two great guys so I'm happy

Yep, I'm very happy. I get why others aren't (especially Jacob fans, holy crap) but my favorite choices are Kaidan and Garrus, and theirs were nearly perfect for me.

I always thought romancing Aria would be kinda cool but it seems she has a small role in this game for some reason?

As a Liara fan I believe I got the best end of the bargain, the scenes were well thought out, detailed and engaging, more than I dared hope for before launch.
I understand Liara comes across as somewhat 'uninterested' during some parts of the game but this is mostly in her character. She's a person that can, under most circumstances, put duty first and private life second. Naturally this changes once you get closer to the end.

The only thing I got from her was a kinda disappointed look when I woke up next to her drunk. I thought about romancing her as well, she is just way too cool!
On the other hand, the Garrus romance was pretty well written, kinda fanservice-like, but I can't complain. I was completely satisfied with that. My only problem is that I don't know how to avoid romanching him again in my next playthrough.

Meh. It was ok. I would have liked to call Liara up to my cabin on demand. THE MISSION CAN WAIT!

I'm happy with the romances, especially with the Tali romance.
The dialogs were written so well, the banters between her and other crew members even funnier when you romanced her and the confession of her love for Shepard after Rannoch a true highlight.
I hope that fans of other characters got decent romances aswell.
Personally I'm not into Liara but I understand that a lot of people are and I hope they got what they expected from the ME3 romance.

Very happy. In ME 2 there were only 1-2 flirt-dialogues and a cabin-scene, besides of that the romance was never mentioned in the whole game. In ME 3 there are a hundred little hints and teasers, from your LI and other squadmates and non-suqadmates. It is cute.

I was pretty satisfied with the way the romance played out with Kaidan. Him buying dinner on the Citadel was completely unexpected but it was a nice touch. I was a bit disappointed though that there wasnt really much dealing with Horizon - I could be remembering incorrectly because I finished the game in 3 days - but I think Shep forgave him too easily. That's just me though.
Overrall, I was pretty satisfied with it. I'm mot saying it couldnt be better - it definitely could - but the ending sort of killed off that satisfaction. Shep is finally back with the love of her life and then...BAM! Sucky endings. Once again, just my opinion.

I thought Liara's scenes were satisfying. You can tell they put a bit more effort into her story.

I am ecstatic with the Garrus romance. Everything about it, from the dialogue to the companion comments to the heartbreaking goodbye was absolutely beautiful.
I am not at all happy with the treatment of ME2 romances in the game.

I thought Ashley's and Liara's romance ending were great! That's about all I care about too..so I am satisfied.

I'm satisfied. I get why others aren't, but original squadmates got all good treatment in ME3 as LI imo.

Liara and Garrus were the only two I've done so far. Both were great, though I prefer Garrus for my Femshep, since it's a rare moment where Femshep, ultra badass of the Galaxy can seem like a Woman.

The link speaks the truth. As someone who romanced Jack, Jacob and Thane...well, that pretty much speaks for itself. I watched the ME1 and new romances on Youtube though, and I'm quite happy with the way they played out. I'm tempted to make a M!Shep for Cortez once I drum up the desire to play the game again.

My theory: Ashley, Liara, and Kaiden were always meant to be the "canon three" romances. Those are the three Shepard is most likely to end up with. But then Garrus and Tali skyrocketed in popularity, so they joined those three and became "the canon five."
The others were either probably not as popular (enough to warrent the cost of them being squad members or given a ton of time), and thus the effort wasn't given them. Most people agreed Jacob was boring, as of one year ago

i saw both Liara's and Samantha's romance scenes, both seem to be set up well for their respective characters.
Can't decide if i am going to redo my fem!Shepard w/genesis to give her Liara or wait till ME3 to take Sam up on her offer of a shower.

I'm mixed. My two romances were Garrus and Thane. Garrus got an awesome one where he shows how much he cares.
Thane... well. Extreme disappointment there...

No.
The ME2 romances deserved the same treatment in terms of quality and quantity than the other romances.

No. I've waited all those years for a f/f romance that Casey Hudson won't cheapen by claims it's not lesbian at all, and although there is lesbian option, it's not romance at all. Just two short and pointless conversations without even one scene on Citadel that everyone else got and facepalm "hot" shower scene.

My two romances (Miranda and Jack) are crap. Sidelining was a bad thing, but they really needed to screw the romances as well? A black screen and a crappy dancde aren't the right way to consumate the romances in the last game.
And about Jacob and thane... no comments.
They really dropped the ball. The only romance they really cared was Liara (im not even surprised of that). Ashley is well done too. Garrus and Tali gets great moments. Traynor and cortex have their goods moments too. But Jack, Jacob, Miranda and thane? WTF they did to them?

I think Garrus and Liara are fantastic (haven't actually romanced Liara, but if her romance is anything like her friendship path...) Kaidan was a little lackluster, IMO. Most of his dialogs weren't that different from when you romanced him than from when you didn't as far as I could see. And even his goodbye scene wasn't as good as Liara's and Garrus'. Heck I was more choked up over EDI's goodbye scene. I haven't loaded up my character that romanced Thane so I haven't actually seen it yet, but I've seen a lot of the Thanemancer say it was kinda crappy that no one acknowledges that the person you love has just been murdered! And I don't even want to talk about Jacob! I know a lot of people didn't romance Jacob (I being one of them), but this kind of treatment to those that did is just not acceptable.
