Which is one of the main problems (if not THE main problem). ME2 introduced freaking SEVEN new LIs. That alone is more than the number of romances introduced by ME1 and ME3 combined.TomY90 wrote...

I'm very disappointed with the Thane (amongst other ME2 romances). It just wasn't handled well at all. After he died, there was little next to no reaction from other characters; Shep just lost her true love for goodness sake. ;~; There was no mourning, no comfort. I understand that they had to make Thane's death inevitable, but they could have just dealt the romance so much better.
I have yet to see how my Renegade FemShep's romance goes, she went with Kaidan in ME1 and Jacob in ME2 (I'm aware Jacob pretty much dumps you, but I see it as more of a fling). I might go with Kaidan again, but I don't really know; James Vega would have been the perfect choice (I'm annoyed he isn't a LI).

And that's Bioware's fault. They made them available, they should have made them all worthwhile and memorable. They COULD have done better. Instead they took the easy route, picked the favorites and gave a big:

- to everyone who didn't romance the Vs, Liara or team dextro.

I mean just... dear gog. Through the entire ME2 Harbringer kept following/chasing Shepard around. And now all the sudden he's giving the silent treatment? Just admit your love for him already! Anyone can see it! Gah!
Why must the Reapers be so freaking tsundere?! "I-it's not like I want to preserve you for all eternity with me because I like you or anything. I just felt like doing it!" ... Riiiiiight. :I
Also I loved the Tali romance. Yes, I had issues with the picture and the fact that there wasn't really much towards the end. And the Endings. But those didn't take away the adorable. ♥

Happy with Traynor's romance. Ashley's could have had less auto dialogue post hospital and she could have moved around the ship. I haven't played Kaidan's romance yet, and I don't have my Garrus, Tali, or Liaramancing saves anymore but I've seen their romances in comparisons to other. Romances I'm not happy about are Thane and Jacob.FreshRevenge wrote...
I feel that BioWare kinda went soft on the romance segments in the game. Almost too short. I have a playthrough that Liara is my LI but I almost feel it doesn't feel that way! I have a playthrough that Garrus is my LI and he seems to be the only character that seems to show any interest in my Shepard? Taking me up to the Presidium seem like a picnic date!
I don't know I thought this being the last game of the Trilogy they might of made more attempts to push the romance options. Also I know Mass Effect 3 is a mature game but it seems like they're catering to teenagers? I mean who takes a shower with a braw on?
I mean I almost want to go through a playthrough and romance nobody because I feel like I wouldn't be missing much!
Thane's is more of a friendship since interacting with him is the same if you romanced him or not and Jacob cheats on you. nuff said I don't really need to rant on how that's character assasination for Mr. Taylor.

If your Shepard had a romance with a ME2 character, you got screwed for the most part.Particularly if that character was Jacob or Thane.
Particularly if your Shepard was female.
Fixed it for ya.

Liara got the best treatment out of every love interest in the game, so consider yourself lucky. if u happend to like jacob or jack you get shafted big time.

When I finished ME3 I felt a little disappointed there wasn't more dialogue with Liara, but once I went back to the BSN and saw how a load of other romances just got shafted, it made me pretty grateful for what I got, lol.
i romanced Jack with one of my ME2 chararcters. let me tell you, i am really glad i didn't import that character first, cause i would have really been pissed

my 5th girl is my canon and I haven't completed ME2 with her yet. she loves Thane. I will finish her story because as I said, she's my canon. I am not going to abandon her now. I am very disappointed with how they treaded Thane's romance in ME3.

The Ashley romance was exactly what I wanted it to be, especially the bedroom scene. It was so romantic and beautiful. I stayed faithful to her, not falling for Miranda's curves once! I had to mentally rewrite the canon ending just so I could have them together at the end... Can you fix that, BioWare? A scene of them on Earth's beach, or something???! -hint hint-
with all the hate bioware is getting for the ending. your wish might actually come true eventually

By putting them at LIs in the first place, they should have figured that people actually get attached to these characters. By throwing their romances out the window, it just seems like a massive "And that's what you get for romancing them!" insult.
I pretty much figured also if you played as a FemShep, killed Kaidan and romanced Jacob or Thane (or no one) then you're pretty much screwed for ME3 if you don't want a lesbian relationship. Just feels like an utter kick in the ovaries. (Yes. The female equivalent of being kicked in the balls..)

I've not got any other saves with other romances; I just couldn't not go with Liara, and in my RPG mind, my femShep is obsessed with the Asari. She's an Adept who wishes she was Asari and if it had have been possible, would have romanced Samara (God knows I tried lol). I've read some humorous lines from other characters if you romanced Liara in ME1, then someone else in ME2; the Tali one on the geth frigate sounded well funny.
I was disturbed by my encounter with Morinth in ME3

I agree with you, but I think think screwed is not a strong enough word for what happened to straight femshep players. Especially if they saved Ashley in ME1 and didn't romance Garrus in ME2. They could have at least made Vega an option for straight Femshep players, because other wise they have no options.
