Again its just speculation but something definitely needs to be done in regards to certain romances I would have loved more Miri stuff and I know she didn't get nearly as much as love as those introduced in ME1 but I didn't get the shaft nearly as hard as Thane and Jacob fans..

Give FemShep 3 more options, at least one of which is a male interest not dependent at all on your choices in the first 2 games (*cough*Vega*cough*), and I will be happy.
I can understand being upset about Jacob but personally I was quite happy with the resolution to my Shep & Thane. Although, DLC that lets you cure Kepral's Syndrome and thereby change his ability to withstand battle would be awesome. Thane & Tali make the best squadmates.

Why have the flirting when nothing can happen between femShep & Vega. Even just a lil kiss scene would have been nice to see imo instead of going on as if nothing had ever happened between the two.

You pretend you still don't get it. There's next to nothing for him to comment on. Again, tell us where are male equivalents of Ardat-Yakshi, Asari and EDI or any situations with male sexuality and looks at the center of the topic he could to comment on? Where are the situation in this franchise where ANYONE can comment on "ohh how sexy hot this female/female sex concept" is? Kaidan doesn't make unrelated off-hand remakrs on women, he comments on situation and concepts that arise throughour the story. Almost nothing that centers on male looks/sexuality arises in the story.Made Nightwing wrote...
Glib remarks about Liara and the asari throughought ME1, glib remarks about EDI's body in ME3, glib remarks about the Ardat-Yakshi. Yet not one remark about men?In ME1, when FemShep can't decide between Liara (a woman) or Kaidan (a man), he says: "A heart's a complex thing, Shepard. Yeah, I could blame you for indecision. But you think I've never been pulled in two directions?". In ME3 if FemShep cheated with Jacob, Kaidan says "So, that was Jacob Taylor on Gellix? Well, at least I wasn't thrown over for some volus accountant. Knowing you have some taste makes it sting less." Good enough?Made Nightwing wrote...
Sorry, it just doesn't stick. If you could find me one remark of his about men (other than M!Shep) that would even hint that he swings both ways out of the romance dialogue, then I'd be satisfied it's not just something out of left field. But I never see you or other "nooooo bi!!!" people complaining about those other things. You only seem to get active when it's about characters not being heterosexual.Made Nightwing wrote...
On the contrary, nothing irritates me more than the ME2 characters who support keeping the base reversing their positions and say that destroying it is the right choice. Neither does Jacob's apparent desertion of a romanced FemShep seem legit. Their are many things that some characters do which seem out of synch with what they've done and said. Kaidan's bi-sexuality is one of them. Hell, if I'm being honest, it's a very minor one, but this is a thread about romance discussions and I was asked for my opinion, so I gave it.
There are actually plenty of situations where Kaidan could make a comment about men. There are dozens upon dozens of male characters in both games where Kaidan is active. Does he make any comments about Vega or Cortez? Does he say anything about any of the male characters in ME1? Yeah, there's nothing for him to comment on. But if he was ever intended to be bi-sexual, then there would have been SOMETHING.
The indecision quote doesn't imply any kind of sexuality question. It implies being torn between two people. The Mass Effect world is pretty sexually liberated, so why would he be questioning some decision to 'come out'? And remember, this is FemShep who went for Jacob, not MShep. He's admiring Jacob as a good soldier and a solid guy, you'd have to be clutching at straws to think that there's some kind sexual admiration for the guy.
No, as a matter of fact I complain pretty frequently about some of the role reversals, as do a LOT of other people.
And again, I'm not complaining about gay characters being in the game. Traynor and Steve were perfect examples of how a homosexual character should be implemented, I love both characters. But Kaidan's bi-sexuality was...well, you already have my opinion on that.

3) The time capsule scene (while everyone gets it, if you view it from the perspective of a romance, its really touching).
I think that was the most touching scene in the whole game, regardless of whether or not Liara was your LI. Whoever wrote Liara's character did a great job in quite a few scenes.
