Indeed. I still don't quite understand why they didn't do something like this. Hell, they could have taken a photo of Liz Sroka (who's rather pretty), doctored it like they did with the stock photo, put her in the suit without the hood/mask and I think folks would have been okay.

Something like this?  Doesn't the Codex mention that Quarians use synthetic implants to interact with thier suits?

No matter which style they ultimately choose, Bioware should show us some Quarians in-game in a DLC of some sort. And to fix the ending.
It's the kind of closure we deserve before moving on to a new trilogy.

Plus they already spoiled how Quarians look without their suits, at least vaguely.

Requoting this because its awesome. This should be the Quarians' general design, and this character should be someone like the General Shala' Raan. So badass and so amazingly beautiful at the same time. The author should be proud of this design.

A pet peeve of mine in Tali Unmasked art I see everywhere.

The mouth light thing is removed.  It is part of the visor.

The way Tali attacked Shepard's face in the ME2 romance consummation scene would have been impossible if it wasn't. <_<

Always imagined quarians would be dark-skinned (if they had skin at all) considering the aridity of their planet and its relative distance from its sun. But the hair really bugs me. Assuming they developed hairs to combat dirt and UV radiation (because it's unlikely to be for warmth or protection against infections), what are the odds (yes, I know. The same series that gave us asari) that they, like humans, lost (the quarian analogue of) the KRTHAP1 gene and thereby developed human semi-hairlessness? And accepting all that, how in the world would Tali have a head straight out of a L'Oreal advert? Shoulder-length, luscious hairs. So useful in a helmet.

One, dem lips. Oh gawd dem lips. Secondly, this is how I see Tali, and anytime I have the urge to see Tali, I look at this.

I liked the Tali in game too, but like many others, it just seemed to "human" for my taste.

The face is just way too creepy for my liking. It dosent represent the voice of Tali well at all IMO. It looks TOO alien.

Did you play the same game I played?  ALL the alien chicks that we ever see are hot (except for that Krogan in ME3...I liked her but not in THAT way).  Every frickin' asari is a smokin' babe.  Of COURSE every Quarian chick will be a smokin cauldron.  I wanted to bang even that Admiral chick in ME2!  Smokey hot voice...I can tell by the sound of her voice she has the legs of a dancer!

If THAT was going to be the way it was then NONE of the aliens would be "hot" and a possible love interest.  Nobody bangs a spider, no matter how "intelligent".  They don't bang Pierson's Puppeteers either.  

The game isn't about realism.  NONE of the aliens would be able to mate with any other any more than a bird can mate with a dog on earth (only worse because they wouldn't share ANY similar DNA, let alone proteins).

Don't get crazy with the realism in aliens thing.  Not in this game.

After that, we might as well get picky about physics and natural laws too.  But we cannot because then the game would become a much more technical game in the HARD scifi genre.  There wouldn't be Mass Relays, the Mass Effect, eezo, etc.  No game series at all.

That entire argument is a nonsensical slippery slope. What you're saying is "I don't want plausible aliens because I, personally, want all of them to be sexy."

The fact that Garrus is so popular disproves your premise. And no one would be forcing you to use the romance mechanic if (the humanity!) the aliens aren't sexy enough for your tastes.

I liked the photo in the game. I just think they should have rendered 3d versions of at least the most important quarians (Tali included) taking off their masks and showing their faces, except that, you know, showing, not teasing.
