Why I'm ultra convinced Bioware is planning something legendary

...that Bioware doesent seem concerned that the ending was so bad that even if 99% of the game was fantastic... the only thing their game will ever be remembered for was its horrible ending?
... that the now-standing ending is actually so bad that 1% of the game completely overshadows the other 99% combined?
...That they would let their reputation be permanently ruined, and even if they dont care about morals and ethics their company would suffer economic failures due to betraying their fans?
...That such a good writer would just suddenly happen to openly steal Deux ex's ending, lose all imagination, go so blind he cant see how the ending sucks, and just simply UTTERLY FAIL at the finnish line when he ran the previous 99% of the marathon just fine?
The ending is a catastrophe for Bioware and fans alike.
Yet... strangely, Bioware keeps acting cool, with mysterious tweets, silence and so on. Posting things like "If the fans knew what was in store..." etc.
Consider this: Bioware stands accused of so many lies right now its overwhelming. If their reaction simply is a PR trick, that would go as further deception and lying. Twisting the knife in the wound.
Indoctrination theory or other solutions, I'm willing to start betting organs that Bioware will come with an ending DLC, or even an expansion for the sole purpose of bringing closure.
What is suspicious isnt that Bioware failed, but how MUCH they failed. (Seemingly).
The next clue is the lies they are accused of when it comes to upholding their promises, they react to them with silence and mysterious messages.
If this was just a PR trick, it would only hurt Bioware MORE.
Noone fails this much and thinks its ok unless they are delusional.
99% of the game was brilliant, and clearly not made by someone delusional.
Therefore, there is a trick. Bioware is planning something legendary, something they KNOW will redeem them infinitely.

if that was the case, and again I would like to believe that, It's backfiring.
They are starting to be made to see this, as is pretty obvious by the PR reaction, waiting for heat to cool down, throwing out distractions and deflections, going into humanizing over drive while they wait for whatever numbers and make plans in another...
Taking accountability for an error, and more or less rolling over " sooner than later" will save them a great deal of face and even net some money....though part of me still dreads" and this is as a person, not as a business owner that can respect it" can make it " sound" like it was their plan anyway and few would find reason to argue.
But again however, Nothing but love for the company, people makes mistakes and miscalls periodically...the problem is these are million to billion dollar errors that can be made better or worse with how business sides deal with it.

But this is the theory I've been going with, as I've obessed over every detail I can find about this issue. It seems pretty clear to me.
Hold the line.

The fact they did it is still bad business. Trolling your fanbase is NOT the way to win them over.
No, but it is a way to turn the gaming industry on its head.
And seperate themselves from most of the developers out there.

whatever we do would likely happen before or during the events of mass effect 3, not after
that means they planed to end the story like this, screw up everything, leave no room for sequel, so it's unlikely that bioware will change the ending
what we are going to see is mid-game dlc and mp dlc, and future games will be prequel or spinoff

Also take into consideration how a "normal" ME3 ending would already have made most people extremely happy. Sacrificing a part of their hardest core and walking into a massive PR blunder, just to make the remaining fans slightly more extremely happy eventually, makes no sense.

I used to think that way. It was nice. A part of me still hopes BW has epic failed customer relations rather than writing.
Alas, the preponderance of evidence points to "Lots of speculation from everyone!" being the intended resolution.

Thats what he said before. Things have changed since then. The entire movement of Retake Mass Effect is an advocate of change. Bioware can still capitalize on this whole situation. Not saying that I'm 100% convinced they will but there is a chance for that. So I'm keeping my hopes up.Legionaire-Shen wrote...
