The weapon I used to test this was the Revenant II. When fired(tested on my krogan soldier with basic stats(1 in fortification and blank everything else) the Revenant gives a noticable kick upwards. I switched to a Turian soldier with rank 6 Turian Veterian with all the "Damage & Stability" branches.  I tested the gun without any mods. and it still kicked upwards, normal.

Now I put on the Assault Rifle Stability Dampener V (Increases weapon stability by 70%)

Now when I fire the gun, it recoils very noticably downwards.

I tested this problem with the other Assault Rifles(With the stability mod V on the turian soldier with maxed stability choices) and they all recoil down with the mod. It might be possible that having over 100% stability will cause you to recoil downwards instead of neglecting the recoil. (I have a total of 125% stability. 70%(mod)+55%(Turian Vet.) = 125%

The downward recoil happens regardless whether or not I am zoomed in.

(I am curious what happens if I avoid the Damage and Stability branches, then with the mod having 105% stability(70%+35%))
