If you take Garrus in the team to Grissom Academy:

Jack: "Hey Garrus. Face still looks like s**t."

And telling her students to cover their ears so she can swear at Joker.

Conrad's eventual moment of non-douchery was awesome too.

Gabby finally taking control of her feelings and yells at Kenneth for commenting on every other female's gorgeous body, and never on hers. I supported Gabby in this argument, as Kenneth was trying to avoid the question and said they were "On a mission".

Most moments with Kaidan once he gets over Cereberus. Tali getting drunk. Garrus and Vega banter. EDI's questions. Seeing Tali get to be on her home planet and take off her mask was awesome. There were so many!

Drunk Tali talking to Javik over comms was hilarious...

Also loved punching a Cerberus engineer so hard that he flew off into the distance - Team Rocket style.

Another moment I loved was the scene after Grissom Academy, where Jack tells all her students how they'll be inked to celebrate the occasion.

I love how they managed to grow her into a responsible character, without destroying the core of what made her Jack

Simply because the Mass Effect series means so much to me.

I think it's time to remember why, and how most  of ME3, safe for the ending, contributed to that.
To say it in the words of Anderson: Show the Devs that they "did good". That safe for one cruel mistake, they made a great game. They've worked hard on this and they deserve some praise after all.

So, what was your favorite "little" moment that made you smile?


For me, probably the chat between Garrus and Tali on how he managed to stow away some Turian chocolate.

The way Tali can barely contain herself upon hearing that made me go all "d'awww"^_^

When Legion refered to himself as "I" and not "We".

When Tali first lands on Rannoch and makes a square with her fingers and says something about "living room view", don't remember the exact words but it was definatly one of the times I both felt like laughing and crying at the same time.

Edit: The topic was things that made you smile, so I deleted the prat about Mording on Tuchanka, good moment though.

It's not.

It just makes me sick hating on a game for several days straight, that was good, safe for it's ending.
We're in for the long haul anyway, so we should learn to differ between the two.
And I think the Devs at Bioware will be far more inclined to work on something inspired if they know that we still appreciate good work.

It's being civil & constructive, appreciative even - but unwavering when it comes to the ending. That's what I think, "holding the line" is all about.

I personally really enjoyed the ''support arguement'' type of cameos from Mass Effect 1 or 2 in the citadel. Of course the crew's reactions with eachother. ME2 did that to an extend but ME3 actually explored on it....I just wished it wouldn't get messed up in the end.....ahhh but I am straying off topic again !

And finally Receipt guy got his refund ! For 15 FREAKING CREDITS ?! ....that was like '' this guy must've paid thousands for that thing '' and then you get '' Here , get your 15 credits back '' .... I just hoped there would be an in-game facepalm...

I enjoyed the moments at the start of the game where it looked like they would let me have a genuine relationship with Liara. I mean I had been with her through two games and countless near death missions. The hand holding, hugs, lap sitting. All made me fell like my relationship with her was actual and real.

Then the frowning started when she suddenly started asking me if i wanted to be more then friends, and then never spoke me again until the standard last ride. But at the start I was smiling so much!

Joker saluting Shepard and their conversation after I decided to not let Ashley back on the Normandy. I don't know if it happens if you do let her on board, but I loved that scene. It took me by surprise.

Pretty much everything Jack said at Grissom Academy. Whoever wrote her was on point - she was fantastic.

Liara's project was very sweet - just the little details (mentioning Mindoir and the fact that my Shep was an engineer) made me smile.
