I've always thought of Tali as being cute or beautiful rather than bluntly sexually appealing.  I think 2, 3, and 4 would be the best options (even though 4 is a bad photoshop).

All very nice, but #4 is my favorite. Either I'm not sophisticated enough, or the Photoshopping doesn't really bother me.

4 is actually a revised version done by a fan. That said, you're not alone, it's in third place if I'm not mistaken.

Also, I think the dislike comes less from the look and more from the fact that all other characters are modeled on a live person and fully rendered into the game while Tali, the most important character in the game to many people was just a 2d pictures with a hack job Photoshopping.

Its rather funny that BW give us all these diverse appearances for the aliens in the series, and when it comes down to showing us the most mysterious (appearance wise) of the species, they give us the most pathetic human like photo they can come up with, total lack of effort but I suppose it keeps it in line with the ending.

1. It strikes that perfect balance between human and alien. I'm really not a fan of those ones that're basically a human with shiny eyes and some cybernetics.

I'm not a big Tali fan myself, but I honestly can't imagine a worse way to reveal Tali's face than the actual way it was done. Considering the stigma surrounding it it should've been done properly (on Rannoch) or not at all. Bioware's lazy photoshop job just seems like trolling.

The top one. Its the right combination of "Alien" and "Attractive". I love the second one, but she is way too damn human looking.

I had not seen #1 before, it's very interesting, anthropomorphic but also alien, as she should be. Image #2 I have seen although the eyes are silvered in my version, also very appealing, but a tad too human in appearance. I suppose I would prefer her to be distinctly 'unhuman' but not to the point of a turian or krogan! I think #1 is my favorite.

10. We already have the asaris filling the "aliens-that-look-like-humans" role. Quarians should be weird and alien-looking IMO. 10 looks strange, but somehow quite attractive to me.

(Also, if Shepard kisses Tali despite her looking like that, it just shows how much he loves her.)

Something more like One, with features that match what we can see of Tali through the mask and fit the Quarian skeletons we see, but is decidedly not human. The darkened eye-whites also match how only Tali's irises are visible.

Just remember that Tali is no more her face than she is her mask. She is what she believes in, what she does about it, and the lines she will not cross - just like every other character.

Despite all the fuss made by fans i liked the in-game picture of tali. I always imagined her attractive and delicate. As for these 10, number one is the best. Big applause for the artist. Hold the line!

3 for me. I don't know... it just seems to fit to her character the best.
