Hi,
I have a Thomson Gateway router - every 10-20m when I am playing MP I am disconnected from the game (communicating...). If I am hosting it disconnects other people from the game.
Apparently this is something of a known issue with Origin/Thomson routers. I can turn upnp off and host/play in public games, but if I have upnp off I cannot join private games (communicating... finishes but it freezes at joining game).
I have opened a veritable array of ports as suggested by other players having similar issues, but this has not helped.
Does anyone have any similar experiences/a fix that does not involve me just having to pick up a new router?

I have a Thomson Gateway router. I actually found my games a lot more stable if I have UPnP *disabled* rather than enabled as Bioware suggested. I don't know if you'll have the same problem as me, but I barely ever get a disconnect now. Good luck!

Here's the thread for connection issues. I'm not familiar with Thomson routers, but they don't seem to be particularly favored in customer reviews. I'm an Asus user myself.
Are you sure you are forwarding your ports correctly?
