I consider this a bug since it allowed me to get my char to lvl 23 before the battle started. You go to the wilds, get the 3 vials of blood then you go to the place where Morrigan is, but don't go with her to her mother, instead return to Ostagar and tell to Duncan that you have the vials but not the scrolls, you get some exp and he tells you not to mistrust Morrigan, if you talk to him again you get again some exp, and again and again and so on. I got bored after my char reached lvl 23 there
