The retake mass effect idea ask of civil expressions of your opinion doesn't matter the outcome of the petition, unless people could do it, they don't share the vision of retake mass effect.xsdob wrote...

He assumed people who hated the endings were the ones who bombed me3 in metacritic, made "stupid online petitions" and harassed the employee's responsible for ME3
The YT video is even a satire
If it wasn't people who hated the endings doing that, than who was it? You can't just dismiss the idoit fringe in your hold the line movement as trolls.
It is very convignante that any random uncivilised guy get stamped "he is part of retake mass effect hold the line movement" booo booo to them ! see how evil they really are !
If Bioware don't officialy recognize that some media are extrapolizing uncivilised individual to help build a mediatic bash of the retake mass effect movement, i could start to think some head pr of EA are organising it on purpose.
This is too conviniant.

I am not a troll. I hated the ending but it is their story, not ours
No its our story, if it was their story it would be a movie not a RPG "Roll Playing Game" where our actions shape the consequences.

The thing that really ticks me off about the video is when he posted the video of the overweight guy upset about day 1 DLC. That felt like a cheap shot. I'm cool with him not liking the idea of fans dictating what creators can and can't do, but he totally could have handled it more maturely. Take a look at Adam Sessler's response. He disagrees with Retake Mass Effect, but he's not condisinding or insulting.
You realize that Boogie was acting right? That is one of Boogie's alter ego characters that he created for himself to poke fun at topics and himself. He was just making a point on how silly Dlc day one issue was .

Artistic is not the problem in the end, it's just False Advertisment. Still, just my opinion when I saw the vid.

Little less annoyed now.
His tone is still way to condesending.

Entitlement huh? Aren't we entitled to a satisfactory climax after investing time and money in this franchise?
Its Bioware's story . Its a **** ending but they should not change their vision
Okay, so let them go play 'their' game to 'their' hearts content and some of us will choose not to play 'their' game because we think it culminated in a ****** poor end to a fantastic series.

Do you *seriously* expect anything coming from IGN, under those circumstances, to be anything but heavily biased?
He's the same guy that blocked me after asking "who'd I call names?" when I pointed out to him exactly in his post where he did soEx0dus_ wrote...

His real opinion
Kotaku and IGN had already linked his satire, both were clueless of Boogie's real intention

He has an opinion, and gets it aired on IGN because he works for IGN. Nothing worse than someone who thinks their opinion matters more than others, and that they will set the guidelines of what is "proper." Moriarty is pretentious beyond belief, you'd think he sits on the Supreme Court for videogames lol

Why on earth would anyone take anything coming from IGN seriously on this matter? They had probably the most access to the games development of anyone outside Bioware for news stories and have an actual *EMPLOYEE* in the game as a character.

Speaking of which, you never did respond when I pointed your own name calling out to you
Either way, never made any mention of "all fans", I used majority because that's what all available numerical evidence supports. FInd me a poll or some sort of measure that says otherwise, because every one we've got shows an overwhelming trend against the current game ending.

Everyone has an opinion on the ending, the day 1 DLC, and a lot of other things about the game. Not everyone gets a feature on IGN.
Should his opinion be taken any more seriously just because he made an obnoxious video for IGN? Nope.
What's funny is that I'm in the "don't bother remaking the ending camp" and after seeing that, it almost swayed me into the "remake the ending" camp just so I don't have to have the same opinion as the tattooed idiot in that video.

Regarding the ending, and fan reaction... Fans can do whatever they want. I always scoff at people who say the ending isn't reason enough to give a negative review, as if they are the last an only authority on what's important in gaming.
I for one am a story-driven gamer. I don't care as much about the stuff going boom. (Not that I don't enjoy that mind you.) But then again, I'm from the days when games were little more than text on a screen...

actually you used "majority" because if in reality you put any of your polls next to sales figures it looks pretty grim doesnt it.
this game will hit at least 7 million sales on all formats.[and thats being conservative]
now..whats your poll count. ?
ps..i am also being polite and not mentioning the pulling of user reviews due to sites finding multiple reviews from the same IP addresses
