Mass Effect is a game, Not art, I dont play it to be wowed by the message of how our existances are equatable to a speck of dust beimng eaten by a philosphical/metaphorical overpowered god-like being...

I play Mass Effect to be entertained, and Mass Effect did not entertain me with the endings. Simple as that.
Am I displeased? Sure.
Will I burn a Car? No.

I just give Bioware my money, their choice affected my choice. It's a...MASS EFFECT.

As much cash that flows into IGN from EA and BW advertisements why would anything they say supporting the endings surprise anyone?

I agree about that fact that some people are going the wrong way about expressing their opinions and are going to far by being really harsh towards Bioware producers and slandering Casey Hudson and so on. I think being really hateful towards them is just not needed and wont get you anywhere. But I think as fans of the franchise, were entitled to request and give our opinions on whatever we want and hope that Bioware do something. Im not asking them to go back and change the ending however I thought the ending was okay, just didn't think there was enough, it didn't have closure and make me feel the way the first Mass Effect did when you come out fo the rubble and show your alive and it all felt great!

Like others said, it's a PR paid damage control.

I dont think its fan entitltement. I wished movies like ghostrider or bays transformers could be redone, but there isnt enough fan support to do so. sure, it's "their story," but holy cow is it crap.

Here's my thing - after DA:O, I preordered DA2, no questions asked. I played DA2, and I certainly won't even think about a DA3 purchase until I've read extensively on it, and probably had a chance to play it to make sure it's worth my money.

I got sucked into the hype for Mass Effect, and preordered all three, again, no questions asked. After this nonsense with the face importing and the ending, I'll certainly be asking questions for the next installment.

That's not entitlement, that's called being a smart consumer. You shouldn't spend money on something that doesn't live up to your expectations. I loved 99% of Mass Effect, and so I won't say I'll never buy anything else - but as a company, you definitely want my unquestioning loyalty. You want everyone's unquestioning loyalty. That kind of thing keeps you in business and prints the money. Questions, especially if the consumers don't like the answers, lead to layoffs. I don't have a lot of time for games, in fact, the only company who has gotten money out of me in the last 18 months is BioWare. That said, it's no skin off my back if I never play another BW game. We had our fun, and if there's no more fun to be had, well, there are more productive things to do than playing games. Your move BioWare...
