Dont really need them to play but it helps you dont just need to discuss tactics you can have a chat have some fun playing multiplayer, meet new people that makes the whole multiplayer experience more fun and fresh.

Plus people may have had there first try on multiplayer in which case I little help goes a long way

It is true you can complete Gold without ever talking. Done it a number of times. But it is much more fun if your team is working as a team.

same as here ErrorTagUnknown. i'm usually on in the early AM for pacific time.... like 2-6... so add 8 hours of you're on the prime meridian (wait it's daylight savings time.... so add 9? or is that 7 ah whatever. you get the point.
