People don't get kicked often. If you are, it's because people think you're trolling them.

Silver only takes 2 good people to breeze through it. Most waves can be solo'ed with some planning. I don't care if I'm playing with bad people because I'm confident I can carry. But I will still instantly kick anyone under N7-10 trying for silver or above. To me that means you have no understanding of the multiplayer game, you just want a "challenge" at other people expenses.

the more newer people i help out the better the community gets. you nerds are waaaay too uptight about one or two newer people in a silver match when if you're good enough anyways you should be able to solo/carry it even if you were with 3 other good players.

One time I saw a low level host a gold game. I was like "eh whatever, we'll see how round 1 goes...".
It turned out he was the best player ever. By best player, I mean he was a hacker.

Right because gear matters in this game where powers do so much more damage and aren't dependent on ammunition?

Next!

If you're playing anything that is weapon dependant(Soldier/Infiltrator mostly) then your gear does matter.

If you aren't, you're not going to have enough ability points at N7 5 to be effective at ability spam in Silver.

Gear really doesn't matter, even weapon dependant classes dont need uber gold / N7 weapons to be effective. Any damage or stagger is welcome in my games. I've seen lots of N7 100+ running around with uber gear but not being effective anyways, mostly because they're too busy trying to get to the top of the scoreboard so they can show everyone their huuuuge epeen.

Your gear still matters, the only weapon that can be made really effective outside of bronze at rank I is the Mantis, just because it's a sniper rifle. For the ability spamming classes though, N7 5 just is not enough ability points to be effective in Silver with ability spam, no matter how badly someone might want it to be. You're actually better off bringing a sniper rifle and ignoring your abilities for the most part.

I generally don't mind 1 guy in silver that low of level, but the rest of the team is most definitely carrying him through the game.

I know what you mean D: I have an N7 level of 305 and I get kicked from BRONZE matches.... even when I have level 5 or 10 guns equipped on like a level 18 character... I will never understand people lol. I've given up now, if I want to do a bronze I just solo it

i would honestly quit if they removed kicking. do you have any idea how many level 2 salarian infiltrators have joined silver/gold reaper matches this weekend? it would be HORRIBLE if we didnt have the option to kick those kind of players after trying to reason with them.

Because its an event...ever think about that? they just want to participate youve got no right to force them out of a public instance.

Kick is suppose to be used to get rid of players that are just being obnoxious, idle, or really hurting the team. Pre game lobby kicking is so abuse able its not funny.

Me and my friend kick people because half these elitst are brainless sheep. If you have someone with you and y'all just decide to red X someone for no damn reason its almost certain that the guy you didnt vote is gonna vote the other guy, we do it because we can...................they should really remove the feature.

MAYBE!
We should just install a no-kick feature on Bronze.
Would THAT make you happy?

And last I checked if I spent 60 dollars on the game and I want to kick someone from a match and 2 others agree to do it as well... I believe that give me SOME rights. Its a fair system. ABUSED.... but fair. The game would be broken without it.

Overall, I think you kids should honestly start giving options to improve the system.
Have a vote kick option in the match instead of lobby.... wouldn't help either cause you'd have to put up with some low level joining you on Gold and then kicking him and risk no one joining in the rest of the match so you just crippled your team even more.

All honesty the only improvement I can see is removing the kick option for Bronze lobbies and thats it. Kicking people in Bronze is defintly an abuse.

I only kick low levels in gold game, they usually die after the first round and are messing up my credits. If you using a geth pulse rifle and you're under n7 50, I have to kick you.

They're kicking you not for same reasons man. Your situation is nothing like his. I'm over 300 n7 rank too so I get kicked like that. But I can understand why.

You dont need some high level guy completely making the game trivial. Some people like handouts or they just want to get to the finish line. Some people want to enjoy the ride.

I'm sick of scrubs kicking me.
higher N7 and better weapons and i get tossed. What a joke.
Just make level requirements like Silver = 5+ Gold = 10+
These elitest are a f***ing joke

If you suck at the game you're gonna get kicked. That's the way it will always be.

It is a MANDATORY feature.
I host all of my games, and look when I am running Gold Reaper and get an N7 lvl 1, lvl 2 Vanguard with Matis 1, do you feel like running the game with him? Sorry but I'm not so kind and not going to waste my next 30 minutes carrying and reviving, and probably failing the game.
He might have joined the game by not setting his difficulty properly when searching for game, but if BW allow this kind of things to happen then no. I need to kick your butt out of the lobby.

The "Event" argument is invalid. You are supposed to know your lvl and capabilities, and not sucking on your team. That's called common sense and courtesy. I have no problem with Silver but if you come in with sub lvl 5 that I can't carry you better get your butt out in a quick fashion. If I host the game yes I will kick you since it's my lobby. I will generally welcome low lvl in Silver, but when it comes to gold you better bring your A game.

I would welcome an in-game kick option. Those morons who join a match and park their character to get free credits and XP are terrible :(.

I'd also like this feature.  I was in a game with a cheater last night (he was an invulnerable bot that just stood there and melee attacked everything) and it was no fun =/.

Kick is a necessary tool. I don't want a level 1-15 joining my Gold Games.

So what if they have 100+ N7 score. Either switch to a 15+ that can synergize well with the group. 15-17 is stretching it. Depends if they have the right stuff.

Any thing under 15 is a waste of space. Why? You don't have enough levels for the abilities to use. Without some Fitness, you'll be knocked down every other second.

If you want to play your subpar level 17 and below, go play silver until 20. Gold Games, especially random, can end very badly if you have a team mate who isn't pulling his weight.

Even if you remove kick, people will just leave games over and over until they find a decent group. Nothing is going to change that.

What if someones AFK? You can yell on your mic. 3 Players ready and ones sitting there AFK. You're going to have to leave the group and find another thats not AFK because you can't kick that person.

I kick low ass levels in gold, I don't care if your N7 level is 3000, if you are level 1, go play bronze for 30 minutes and at least get to level 10..

Just had a match (setup: Random Location/Random Enemy/Silver) and a N7 lvl1, Char lvl1 joined in. Told him via mic it would be a bit too much to start the MP with.

Didn't kick. Waited a bit, everyone readied up, so did I. Were even pitted against the Reapers on Firebase Glacier (the possibly worst map to fight Reapers on).

Completed the game without much incidents, had to revive him a couple of times, but not that noticable an amount to say he was a liability.

Lesson to be learned from that people:
Don't be a douchebag, you'd be stunned how some people can curprise you, by either simply not rocking the boat or actually surprising you with skill. That goes same for unusual class/weapons combinations. Try it. On silver you can still do it.

I'd prolly have kicked him from a Gold match to be honest though.

Yup.  There is no shame in going to Bronze.  If you want other people to power level your character, look elsewhere.

Now, if you have a Widow+ and are playing Infiltrator and are lower level, I can deal with that.  Shouldn't be front lining anyway.

N7 scores are an indicator of how frequently someone has been playing, not necessarily how good they are. Lost count of the number of times I've seen N7s below 20 finishing top of the leader board above 100s and even 200s. Not really that difficult to point and shoot the crap of whatever is between your crosshairs, is it?

There should be an automatic idle boot function. If someone hasn't made ready after a couple of minutes, the server bins them. The waiting does my head in. But kicking someone because you think they're too low for the game? Nah, screw that. You're not exactly Rambo yourself.

I actually like it, the lobbies seem to bring together completely random people. Most of the time I go on kicking sprees because our team is playing on gold against reapers and we really want everyone to have a mic. We get plenty of hate mail, but if the person doesn't talk or doesn't plug a mic in after we ask, we kick them.

have a drop program that counts  down  to how long it takes you to move you character after entered the game when it starts counting down of 15 seconds to or less freom when you enbter most people when they land will infact move away from the lz and  start killing it would stop if you  killed something.
