If kick is removed, how else are we supposed to get rid of idlers in the lobby?

have a drop program that counts  down  to how long it takes you to move you character after entered the game when it starts counting down of 15 seconds to or less freom when you enbter most people when they land will infact move away from the lz and  start killing it would stop if you  killed something.

That's what i would say. Like if everyone is ready and you arent for like a minute, it goes or kicks you.
And in game, if your character doesn't move or shoot for a wave or two, kicked (i say or two cuz sometimes, i just gotta ******)

I must say, i love the people with the mics who while its loading the lobby i can hear say, "Gotta hate stupid players" Then i get in and i'm already kicked. Can we just have elitist lobbies? That way these scrubs can get there asses handed to them and me and a few other good randoms can actually do work.

To OP: If you hate getting kicked find 10-20 people here on BSN who play on your platform. If you're on the 360 go ahead and add me.

I don't give a damn what N7-level someone has, but if they join a silver or gold match with a level 2 character, they will severely gimp the team.

Some people seem to believe that their N7 level makes them invincible or the MVP, which is a load of crock.

Here's something that could potentially be your problem.

Depending on what difficulty your joining, people could be kicking you out of fear you'll do all the work. Some people don't like that.

Example- I was 10k away from level 20 at N7 230+ and quickly got votekicked out of the bronze lobby I joined for quick exp. Joined another bronze, game started, I wound up getting about 75% of the kills in a full lobby. I was kicked after. Both times I was a Turian Sentinel. I wasn't even kill stealing.

Other potential explanations-
You joined right as the lobby was set to private.
You're not playing as the class they want.
You have a bad load out.
You're playing as a class they hate.
Your levels aren't what they're looking for.

There's so many possibilities, it's not worth getting bothered over, especially since there's another lobby 10 seconds away.

If you keep finding yourself kicked by 3 random people, then the problem is with you. I have never been kicked, nor have I seen anybody be kicked except for being afk or for joining silver/gold at lvl 1-5, with equal N7 ratings.

I kick people from my games if they did bad during the past match. Just kicked an adept from my gold match for not knowing how to use biotic detonations.

Never been kicked though I stick to bronze, I’m in no hurry to raise my N7 rank…take it one step at a time. I play a Krogan Solider as well, and yes…I melee everything.
Ayanko- Atlas Melee

Oh yes.

I only been kicked a handful of times, so to me all these kicking threads sound overboard. I do kick low N7 levels in gold or just quit.
I am a competitive player in gold. In Bronze and Silver I generally let it slide because those are the learning grounds for most newbs.

When I host, the room goes by MY rule set.
When someone else hosts, I go by theirs.
Don't like then I quit.

Personally I hope more control is offered to the host so I can get rid of people quicker on gold, sometimes I need a spot for a team mate, sometimes I just want them gone, usually if they are below N7 60.

Sorry but the "kick player" option NEEDS TO STAY, simply because the positives of it far outweigh the negatives.

There are plenty of matches out there with good people that you wont ever get kicked from, while there are far too many "annoyances" that must be kicked.

Everyone gets the "booted for no valid reason" cr@p at least once, just get over it and join another game... it shouldnt happen that often... if it does, then perhaps there actually is a valid reason you're getting kicked 'eh?

To solve this they should just put lv requirement on higher difficulty. Say silver lv15+, gold lv20 etc.
Otherwise, i'm also too sick to kick random noob low lv who tend to join Silver game... It's just doesnt make any sense!

If u're low lv, farm bronze plz, dont try to screw up ppl by joining silver game.

Kicking option is 100% necessary. End of story. You don't like it, there's another lobby waiting, soooo rough.

I have only been kicked twice, once I can only assume they had another person they wanted to join them, the other time I got distracted and walked away from the game not realizing I was still in the lobby, I came back 30 minutes later to see I had been kicked.

A bit off topic, if you get 15000 credits for a completed bronze, whats silver? I've never really paid attention

Kicking is absolutely necessary. Especially on Gold where there is an alarming amount of level 5 people.

Not really practical in situations where you can change character after joining the lobby. Something tied to N7 level might work better but this early on it's not a good idea as everyone is low. In a month though . . .

I'm sick of scrubs kicking me.
higher N7 and better weapons and i get tossed. What a joke.
Just make level requirements like Silver = 5+ Gold = 10+
These elitest are a f***ing joke

If you're constantly getting kicked out of lobby's, I'm sorry but you must be doing something seriously wrong like having two heavy weapons on a caster class or attempting to use a very low level class on silver or gold.

If anything, I think they need another boot option, one that lets the host kick someone without a vote. That way peeps won't be ran out of their own looby's because no one will vote with them to boot a level 1 out of silver or gold.

Nothing wrong with low levels in silver. Especially if you are a good enough player to help them along. Kicing someone because someone is lower than you IS elitism at it's finest.

But I'm not that good -.- ...

I can "along" one low level with a decent random team but not 3 others who are new to the whole game.

That's kind of a "mercy" kick though. Silver is a quite hard difficulty compaired to other shooters.

I think most new players thing that bronze = easy, silver = normal and gold = hard. In reality it's more like bronze = normal, silver = hard and gold = very hard.

I've gotten kicked twice because I takes me forever to get to and fro the bathroom with this damn backpain. *lol*

I think a minimun level requirements for silver and gold should be enforced, if nothing else to help out noob likes myself who select random game. I started playing multiplayer yesterday, knowing nothing of bronze, silver, gold and had a very bad experience. My first match, with a lvl 1 soldier, i couldn't poke out of cover without my shields being blown away. I tought "how could wawe 1 possibily be so hard?". Squad wiped on wave 1 and everybody left lobby. I selected random game again and got in a lobby where i got kicked, did it again and once more i got kicked. I started thinking "the hell is wrong? Ok i'm level one but what's the problem? game is new". Finally got into a match, wich i learned being silver after it endend, and got to wave 9. I obviously got carried there. So in the end i finally noticed the whole difficulty system. The game should really enforce bronze in some way to noobs like me. I endend up having a bad time and probably ruining game for others wich had to baby sits me all the way...

Lol, I had a similar experiance in the demo. We all had mics though and all of us were new and were going why the hell is so hard?! We can't even get past wave 2!! (and that was pushing it, lololol) Till like noobs we realized it was silver and were all too low leveled to handle it, haha.

Based on that, I don't get MAD really when a starter MP ends up in the harder difficulties but I'm still gonna vote to boot. Again, sorryz if I ever booted any of ya, lol. Posted Image

Hmm I haven't seen any kick "abuse" to be honest (on PC anyway), it's always been for a legit reason.

If you constantly get kicked then it may be because you're idle in the lobby for ages or in silver/gold with a low level (and likewise avoid joining bronze with a level 20, people tend to dislike watching someone else slaughter everything while they twiddle their thumbs)

Isn't 'scrub' something elitists use to call inferior players? Seems odd to call them both.

Not calling you elitist, it just seemed really odd to me.

Also, if they really don't know any better, it shouldn't be something taken personally. It's their loss for the moment. They might learn this in the future, and you can all be broskis.

Might just be that you tinker in a lobby for ages. I nearly always do all my "tinkering" outside lobbies.

They REALLY should add that 1 minute force-start timer. I ABSOLUTELY hate it when people take their damn sweet time to do things just as everyone else is ready. That pisses me off.

Just host your own game. I too do most of my tinkering outside the lobby, so I'm practicly ready when people get in. I try to do teamwork as best as I can, be friendly on the mic etc... if you are lucky some nice people will stick around for the next matches and the whole problem becomes moot.
