There has been much said on how the amazing game trilogy is harmed by the ending choices, so I will not dwell on it.
The point, I would like to make to the esteemed developers is this: DLC.
Combined price of DLC for ME2 was comparable to the price of the game itself. Of course, not everyone, who bought the game followed through on DLC, purchases. However, the "hardcore" audience did - the same audience that is rather unhappy about the current ME 3 ending.
To me, the allure of paying for DLC has dropped significantly, as it appears that my decisions in them will bear no consequence on the ending. If a significant portion of the population feels the same (and so far it seems like it does), then the future DLC revenue shall be noticeably diminished.
To keep it short - some sort of ending-altering DLC could be a win-win. Bioware gets well deserved (monetary) compensation and the fans get closure and enjoyment.
Respectfully,
Alex
Just the economics of it (ME3 Ending)
