I have been trying to install the DA Toolset, which I downloaded off of the community site, and have been getting a blue screen right at the end of the install.  There is an SQL script that runs in a DOS screen right before my computer crashes to the blue screen.

My PC continues to crash after each consecutive restart, after the install, and I have to boot to the last good configuration, which is before the toolset install, for my computer to come back to life.

I bought the game off of steam and it runs well with the graphics pretty high.  Personally I think this may be an SQL problem.

Has anyone else had this sort of issue or can think of a way to get around this?

You are running XP SP2 no?



Well there is a topic by bioware that the Toolset does NOT work in SP2. This being a MSSQL issue with SP2 and not a direct Toolset issue.



You have to install XP Service Pack 3 in order to run it. By now SP3 is a must for any XP install.

Sounds like the SP2 bug to me.



If you aren't running XP SP2 could you please post your system specs here so we can debug further.
