Why? Its clear that liara would have other partners after shepard is dead. Even if he survives,humans do not live as long as krogans.

At least Liara/Feron makes sense in a setting where Shepard doesn't romance Liara...even if I am not a big fan of the pairing (I don't like drell), it is hinted if Liara isn't your LI in LOTSB.

I could see her with Miranda, Kaiden or maybe Traynor. But Javik? no...

I think their personalities mesh quite well (at least ME2/3 Liara).

I think Liara would be interested in it because she is so obsessed with Protheans. For her it would be like getting with a rock star. However...
1.Javik is such a dick that it would never happen. and...
2. Like everyone said he couldn't be with a "primitive" being. It is difficult for him to respect other species let alone be in a relationship with one. This is not just for selfish/prejudice reasons. A relationship should be between two people that understand each other. Javik is so intelligent I can't say I completely blame him for being irritated with everyone. He is alone- he has no colleague that understands his way of life. Liara might come close but she'll never understand him the way he needs to be understood. If you think about it Javik is really tragic in this way.

They do have chemistry, but it isn't sexual at all. I think Liara may be one of Javik's only friends after the war because she understands him in a limited way, but not enough for a relationship. Sure, Liara may be sexually curious about him, (this is just an inference, there is nothing in the game to support it.) but I doubt this curiosity would be substantial enough for a relationship.

3.Adding to the previous point I find a relationship between them inappropriate. It is like an adult dating a minor in terms of understanding and maturity.

He hasn't gotten any action the past 50,000 years, here comes a good looking Asari who has been interesting in your species her whole life and can mate with anybody but Javik acts like an ****.
