Thing is if Javik where just a bit well ... nicer I really could believe that an unromanced liara would have Javik out of his pants before he could say "I'm not that kind of ancient species!" I think the idea of pairing with a Prothean would appeal to her. As he is though ... no.

The way Javik ended up at the end of my game, he's a changed prothean.  But then, I didn't romance Liara and I made sure Javik didn't touch the shard.  So now he and Liara are hooking up.  For purely "academic" reasons, I'm sure.

But... they hate eachother. Liara is an annoying primitive, and Javik ripped away her dreams of the Protheans as benevolent enigmatic creatures.

It would just be a lot of hate sex.

I like Javik but he is accustomed to asari as a primitive race. It'd be same as if a human would be awaken from a cryogenic sleep X years later and consider mating with a speaking monkey as a fine option. Seriously, just no. 
I also doubt that Liara would loose her dignity and sink so low to approach a relationship of such nature.

Did you read the rest of what I said? It seems innapropriate. He's lightyears more advanced and mature then her. Maybe when she reaches the Matriach stage it'll seem less perverted...

I thought he just said they were pointless.

I thought he said that but it all starts to blur together with Javik. Nearly everything was punishable by death apparently. Regardless he's not fond of interspecies relationships.
