I actually agree, but I'm just sayin', I wasn't especially convinced by the other ones either. I mean, I could perhaps understand why Joker had feelings for EDI, but what exactly does she get out of a romantic relationship with him? Absolutely pointless. I'm just glad not all her dialogue was filled with blather about their relationship.

Companionship? Comfort? Trust? It's not like romance has to have sex. I would have been cool with sticking with Garrus and Tali even if it didn't work in the bedroom. It's not like they can have kids, without some deus ex machina bs influence.

That would make sense if it had been a platonic continuation of their ME2 relationship. But it's clearly pointed out that it's a sexual relationship, and that EDI also wants it to be one.

So...you can't have both? I remember something a character in a story once said: "Relationships are 20% sex. The other 80% is talking with them."

For me it just simply boiled down to FemShep/Liara has the most level of believable affection between the characters.  The chemistry there was awesome.  Even if I had 100 different choices of characters to romance for my FemShep, it'd always be Liara and noone else.  It. Just. Works.  ^^

That's also a hint Bioware.  Shep/LI's NEED another option for the endings. 

I agree with you, no matter what in all my FemShep's I always end up romancing Liara, they just are meant to be and I can't do nothing but romance her~

I don't quite remember it like that.

I'm basing this on what she says in the Presidium Commons about injecting Joker with something or other to simulate the right kind of response for a relationship.

My fem shep would prob fight every creature known to exist to keep Liara by her side. If shep was dead after fighting the reapers, im sure she would want Liara to continue on. Maybe not grab a mate immediately but ya know.

If by some chance shep survived and found Liara in the arms of that walking bug like fossil...im sure there would be many renegade moments. Followed by a "could you at least wait until i was cold and dead before ya went sprinting off to extend your species DNA!!?!" Prob involve a lot of chair throwing and some biotics too . XD

The other options is if her government would pull all asari home to make up for er....losses. AT that point i think 5 years of chasing her would be done and my shep would say something like "Nuts to this! Im going to omega and hire some personal assistance for my room!"

They are the only two squaddies who have--how can I say it...delevoped onscreen tension and building. Mass Effect 2 had that with Miranda and Jack, as well as with Tali and Legion. But in Three, you only see Javik and Liara butting heads with one another. There are hints in the game of a romance, Tali mentions it...you have Liara's emails and their conversation of Thessia...bioware put a lot of effort into those two.

I was surpised it didn't happen (overttly) in the game...but I wouldn't be surprised if it was an idea. Heck, I think it probably was in the cards but seeing as Liara is probably the most popular LI for blokes and ladies, they probably worried about the fans and took it out. Which I don't get...I romanced Liara in one of my games and would have no problem if this happend if she remained unronanced in ME3
