I know the people who romanced Liara are all--NO SHE IS MINE...but do you guys feels the same way about Garrus and Tali who do hook up if you don't romance either. Garrus was my *as in--main* romance, and he was meant to be with my shepard--no question. That saying, I loved the idea of him and Tali (who I had also romanced) together. Rather than saying NO HE IS MINE--I thought...no wait...that fits.

I feel the same way about Javik and Liara, (and yesssss I also romanced Liara). I felt--oh she is MINE...but...this also works too.

Javik should pass his genes to Asari race, not necessarily Liara, before commiting suicide. Or maybe just clone some Javiks, after all they all looked the same in flashbacks.

Here's food for thought..

All Asari look the same, as well (mostly).

So if they DID get together. Would they look like Asari or Prothean?! (being as there is no real variation between individuals aside from markings and voice)

Well. Feron should get on that if Shepard and her are just great friends... but I could easily see her curious nature leading to some similar feelings that she had for Shepard.

The difference is:
With Shepard she was drawn in by the cipher and it's Prothean nature to Shepard, but then soon after found someone that she was compatible with and grew to care deeply about
(AKA MY FEMSHEP)
With Javik, She'd be even more interested in that he's an actual Prothean, but at the same time has grown beyond the naivete of ME1 and has greater duties in regards to a reaper invasion and being The Shadow Broker. Overall, the curiosity is similar, but I don't believe that Liara would find a person who would reciprocate the same level of care as Javik is a being from another time and slightly uninterested in dealing with primitives that his empire held dominion over.

Liara would end up with Feron or Shep; those two make the most logical sense.

Actually, Javik 'mating' with an Asari would be good somewhere down the line, so some bit of the Protheans goes on.

At the very least, once the war's over Thessia would make a decent place to retire. He can help the primitives some, and be respected while he does it

Even though he's a dick to Liara for the entire game, she still goes to him and asks if he'll write a book with her. And apparently he says yes.

I think it's important to realize that Javik doesn't 'hate' or even 'dislike' the people around him. He just says what's on his mind without sugar-coating it for anyone's absorbtion. He doesn't care - as he says directly - what people think of him.

Hmm i read somewhere that when Asari mate with other species the offspring is always Asari? damn it can't remember where i read this correct me if i'm wrong haha.

Mine would be indifferent, or slightly nauseated, like she was with Tali/Garrus. So long as she has Kaidan/Vega and her BFF Cortez, everything is coooool.

lol i've been Liara since ME1-ME3 the shadowbroker DLC did the romance pretty well.

lol i've been Liara since ME1-ME3 the shadowbroker DLC did the romance pretty well.

That's how my husband was... until Miranda. He cheated on Liara in ME2 but got back with her in ME3. I think its a tie between Liara and Kaidan for the most romantic romance...except Kaidan's mistake in ME2.. I can forgive him for that.

While I like Javik, he shouldn't even bother trying to hook up with Liara.

She's compassionate, he is without compassion.

If she didn't hook-up with Feron, she's not hooking up with Javik.

I get the impression Liara lives for her work and the only person that changed that was Shepard. If you didn't take that opportunity to romance her, then I'd say she just closes back up again. There isn't even a hint she wanted anyone but Shepard.

Good point haha she just seems to like shephard even when he's like with say tali. The little mind sharing scene at the end shows it she's obviously into him.

I wouldn't say she hates him. She didn't expect his attitude, and was taken aback by him. Javik seems to warm up to Liara towards the mid-game/ending

I don't mind Shep dying. She died a hero, and to me, she saved everyone she could and a part of her is a part of Kaidan forever.
