Who Can Take Any Of This Serious When Every Letter Is a Capital?

Long story short: Indoctriantion "Theory" evidence stockpiled furthermore. Biggest question is; When is the DLC coming?

One thing loosely related to the topic that bugged me. Doesn't the omni tool have a built in camera? So why didn't Shepard take pictures of the collector base?
Instead the place reminds Anderson of "his description of the Collector Base."

well, be fair. taking photos for his scrapbook was probably the last thing on Shepard's mind at the time.

What are you talking about, my Sheppard always makes BFF collage with Garrus after each mission!

Some of these can be taken away as gameplay necessities, like the radio.

Some are very weird though. Like the Shepard shot in the abdomen.

It still points out most, if not all the inconsistencies in the ending.

You can't deny those, even if you don't support the Indoc-theory.

It wasn't clear that he was shot; and he was bleeding when he woke up on the Citadel and holding his side....

And this is essentially every possible problem with the endings, in plain English, in one place. This is something that needs to stay at the top of the boards. People need to read this.

I don't know whether these are in there. But they don't seem to be discussed too often.

1. If TIM(and hence Cerberus) was under Reaper control as the God Child AI says, why did the Reapers find the need to attack Horizon. Are we to assume that Reapers got control of TIM after that?

2.Why exactly does God Child AI present the red option? By it's implication, nothing is now stopping organics from creating synthetics that destroy organics ( :D) which is what the whole point of God Child AI was.

Echoes of the old Mass Effect: Deception backlash that I was not present for... even I can still find the old Google doc for that.

This. Dear lord, this. Perfectly summarizes EVERYTHING. Someone make sure to archive copies every couple of days so important stuff doesn't get mangled by accident.

ofc I would not deny them, I'm very sensible about plot holes, but I don't buy Indoc. explanation

Just amazing.

I still believe the indoc theory holds true, But I hadn't heard about many of the issues stated in that doc.
In light of this, only two outcomes are possible.
A) The writers for the ending tossed out all everything from of ME1&2 and created something completely inconsistent with the rest of the series.
B) They planned everything, so they can release a future ending, whether a DLC with shepard, or ME4 where the new protagonist destroys the reapers.

A good read in my opinion.  It conveys a lot of the issues i have with the endings and points out many of the logic pitfalls with with explantions given in the limited conversation at the end.

Something they forgot to mention - if Shepard has his radio, why doesn't he attempt to contact anyone and tell them he's alive while he's walking towards the beam? Is he only able to communicate with Anderson? We know the radios are able to communicate with ships in orbit, so why isn't he trying to reach Hackett?

Other than missing that, this is excellent and should stay on the front page.

Look, if you're gonna post another indoctrination theory support thread, just say that's what it is instead of saying it's something else. That's kinda annoying.

I don't understand how anyone could miss the point about the Illusive Man. He's perfected some level of control himself. Just because he's indoctrinated, does not preclude TIM from controlling others with what he's modified himself to do. Quite plainly, he is controlling Shepard and Anderson when he encounters them on the Citadel. All the Reaper growls and special effects are TIM controlling Anderson and Shepard. It's not any more complicated than that.

The whole concept of parts of the Citadel shifting and changing has been around since ME1 when people can be heard complaining about their offices being re-arranged. You can't just blithely state that there's only one corridor. We have no idea how many corridors there are or what's being changed with the architecture. It's entirely plausible that Anderson is witnessing the area being shuffled about and it's entirely plausible that he came from a different area than Shepard.

Look, we have a guy who was there when they made the ending to ME3. The Indoctrination Theory was not part of the plan. They just really messed up the ending, and people are grasping at straws trying to make sense of it. That's okay, I don't blame 'em since this ending is such a stinker. But let's not look for something that isn't there.

Good read although I disliked that they always refered to Shepard as "she" instead of "he/she". Don't know why but it bothered me.

Forget the indoctrination part and still all the points made show that the ending doesnt make any sense.

While it does bring up indoctrinbation theory, It more importantly raises issues that are at the heart of the problem of the ending and it is exactly  the criticism bioware is asking for.
