If I had written the ending I'd go bury myself somewhere for the shame after having read that document.

Yep, severe bout of depression and instant change of line of work.

I'd be devastated if I was the writer and had my "work" summed up like this.

It doesn't matter whether this person believes indoctrination is true or not (we've got good evidence that it wasn't intended by the writers, but that the vestiges of an abandoned plotline were left intact).

The reality is that the list of faults is really good. Those are mostly geniuine, true faults. Terrible plotholes, poor reasoning, just bad writing. The sad reality is that indoctrination wasn't intended, yet it creates a MORE consistent, less plot-hole ridden solution to the story. Not intended, but true. Bioware should use that. They figuratively stumbled into a workable solution they didn't intend. They should USE it.

The only criticism I have of the list is that the line where Sovereign said "we have no beginning or end" should be taken firgulatively rather than literally. There has to be a history to how the Reapers came about. Having an origin to me is not a plothole. A lack of an origin is a plothole. I'm okay with the idea that Sovereign might have figuratively thought of himself as having no true beginning because it is made up of millions of consciousnesses, each of which might have had different beginnings.

Read it, its great to have all the nonsensical stuff in one place. Needs to be edited to get rid of all the "She's", just say Shepard. And not everyone subscribes to the indoctrination theory so make sure its written in a way that that is known.

Needs to be updated with he/she, him/her.

Not everyone plays as femshep.

And it matters how?

The point is the glaring plot holes and failure in logic.

I just want to point out that in the English language, the standard pronoun to represent monogender is "she". Just for all those saying it should be he/she.

Otherwise, yes very good read. My girlfriend and I discussed quite a few of them, yet there were still many I didn't even notice/consider.

very good! I still think Sovereign got meshed into the Citadel after he got killed and that's why illusive man seen was so much like Saren and how he was able to indoctrinate Shepard in the first place.

If some one is planning on Bioware reading this they might want to re write some of it so it is more polite.

Good work to whoever made this. Nice to see it all written down like this.

Being updated as we speak and I cannot lie...most if not every single one of these points make sense! https://docs.google....?pli=1&sle=true

This make a lot of assumptions, then says the game makes no sense like it is fact, when the assumptions have glaring holes themselves.

A few good points, but mostly bad ones.

This is the greatest document I've ever read in my life.

Thank you, whoever wrote this.

'''Shepard alone killed three Reapers, one of which actually spoke to him. Depending on how many new Reapers are created from each organic species, the mortality rate of Reapers means this system is not a very effective way of storing organic life in "new form".'''

I agree with indoc theory entirely but don't think this statement from the document helps prove or disprove any theory. But damn his got a point. haha

I consider myself to be neutral in the argument to change the ending. Someone from Bioware should really read this.

I'm fairly certain it's he. And/or no one will rule one way or another because of sexism.

I still use he for mono-gender and neutral. Might be author bias. But it certainly isn't established language convention, especially when contrasted with other languages ours developed from.

One thing to add, for anyone who is editing: You can shoot the keepers on the Citadel point blank in the head --dozens of times, if you like-- and it has no effect. I'm sure someone has mentioned this before, but I didn't see it in the document.

You know, I still have some hope that Bioware has something in store for us, and the ending just showed incomplete information on purpose to at some point tell us that we did win the game.

@KylieDog:

You just hate the indoc.theory....the author of this document is not implying that the indoc theory is fact....he just says that the only possible way for the plotholes to make sense is if the theory were true....he even states the document isn't based on the indoc theory....he just lists all of the plotholes....plain and simple....don't hate just because you saw the words "indoctrination theory" within the document

The smaller points are very nit-picky and inane but the major plot points do have merit.

Harbinger indicates that the Geth have 'limited utility' because they've failed once before. Maybe this is why he + the reapers went full-blown indoctrinated organic forces (Easier to ASSUME CONTROL)

I never noticed that "double shepard voice" of the Child.
Does someone has a good video that shows that?. I remember a completly new voice.
