As much as this is totally discrediting the movement... it's actually kind of funny.

your just now realizing that?

welcome to the bsn

truth be told is ever since the devs said they listen to fan feeedback the fans just assume every little piece of feedback will be heard and replied right away wich isnt the case

i personally feel as a gamer and a bioware supporter i think that was a mistake because i think the devs are to nice on people ( not all) who go out and personally attack them

When games went from being $60 to get the full content to hundreds of dollars factoring in all the DLC availabile.  Games used to have that content as unlockable extras.  MvC 3 had 2 on disk DLC characters. Street Fighter X Tekken has 12 on disk DLC characters.  Now I have to worry about false advertisements as well?  It's time to start treating the video game industry as the multi billiondollar industry it has become.

Heard about it, still baffles the hell outta me, I understand, you hated the ending...but taking it all the way to the FTC? Come on....

Yeah, this is not the "misrepresentation" the FTC would be remotely concerned with.

Nothing will happen.

It's called "puffery" and completely legal anyhow. See the FTC defines puffery as a "term frequently used to denote the exaggerations reasonably to be expected of a seller as to the degree of quality of his product, the truth or falsity of which cannot be precisely determined because of its subjective nature.

Such as: It's a complete game! End and closure for the trilogy! All your questions will be answered! Etc. etc. ad naseum.

It. Is. NOT. Debatable. Everything they've said is literally true. It may not be true to YOUR standards, but it is literally true. There are different endings.

Again you are overlooking the thing that bothers me most about your analogy. It isn't fair and is downright condescending to suggest that someone who potentially  misinterpreted claims to advertise the game but is nonetheless capable of quoting promoters etc with someone who had expectations that weren't based on ANY claims promoting the product and is just butthurt.

Another thing that I've noticed was people alleging 16 endings but getting less than this and accusations of "ABC endings." I made a topic discussing whether or not the game was falsely advertised. Feel free to respond there as all I'm getting so far are "yes, it was falsely advertised" comments.

What about expressing yourself without resorting to insults?

Well, I'm not so sure about "economic extortion." I mean customers have the right to complain if a product isn't satisfactory. But yeah, I don't agree with going to the FTC because I don't want the Federal Government involved in anything... let alone the gaming industry.

So, when people on your side call those of us who like the ending "ignorant" or "idiots" or "drones", I can look for you to tell the same thing to them, yes?

Oh. You mean, I can't? Bummer.

Getting a new ending
won’t mean anything if we force them to do it.

Er, why?

Cause it will be rushed, sloppy, made with anger and hatred for fans, and made with intent of pleasing the courts and not the fans.

maybe people should play a different game to kill time for a possible DLC instead of pissing and moaning over the endings. i've been reading alot of the posts in this forum for awhile and good lord some people i think are out of they're friggin minds lol.
however i do commend peoples devotion to the game series and all but it would be a good idea to come up for air sometime and play something else before people go on killing sprees and stuff lol.
