I personally don't understand what everyone is so upset about. I personally loved the ending of ME3, and the series will probably be remembered as the best video game series of my life! After I finished it I went onto YouTube to see the other endings, and I still don't get what the fuss is all about. Sure, there were some similarities, but all the endings had their own touch.

Also, like someone said before me, I have yet to see any suggested improvements. If someone posted a link to these, I'd gladly read them!

'Some similarities' is putting it inconceivably mildly. The only real difference is the colour.

Well, yes, but what more could they have done? Pardon me for not being the most creative of men, but I honestly can't see what they could have added to each individual choice that you could make.

You are right, they can't... the problem is they copped out with those choices and that scenario to begin with. The differences in the ending should have had a bigger impact in who lives who dies, and what happens to the galaxy. Who do you get on board for the final battle. As far as I can tell it does not matter what you do at all in this game or what you did in the previous games. And regardless of what you choose you pretty much get the same result. And no closure, and no continuity. The frustrating thing is the game itself (before the ending) does take those considerations... but for what? Nothing.

Here's a video that a friend of mine just sent me. It kind of blew my mind, and I recommend that all who are wondering what the hell the ending was about to watch it. WARNING: GREAT SPOILERS

Yeah, I know of this theory and it would be totally awesome if it were true. I feel as if it's too much to ask, however, and that's why I'm more inclined to believe that BioWare just messed up very badly. I hope I'm wrong.

Even if it is the case, that's kind of a terrible way to end the game. I think the fact that people are struggling with this, and trying to find so many justifications for the ending is just so they don't feel betrayed by the various promises from Bioware, who said that our choices mattered and would culminate into some true awesomeness. <- not verbatum, but you get what I mean. :P

No kidding, plus if they have guessed it correctly, many people will think that bioware changed the ending to suite the fans. They would have needed to release ending almost immediately after the game was released. In any event I think it is unlikely.

I don't mind if we have to wait for a new ending DLC release, but it would be nice to hear them acknowledge that they are actually working on one, otherwise we won't quiet down anytime soon. And that's exactly what they want.

While I think all the fuss around the matter became more ridiculous then serious (I mean the exaggeration, that's funny, you have to admit), I...
well, I bow before who came up with the charity idea.
I mean, I like the endings, or at least the concept of them.
But a charity is always good to have, and I suspect that some of these players wouldn't give money to Child's Play otherwise.
So that's a really good thing.

I think it's taken a more serious turn, personally. The fact that people are actually taking it seriously, like Forbes and CNN, it's getting pretty big.

It must have been a pretty slow week for CNN. Although I'm not against the cause, it's nothing that really should be hitting wider news mediums. This topic merely falls down to a clash of opinion, you either liked the ending - or you hated it. This has just been blown completely out of proportion now.

This is pretty amazing. A charity for a disliked game ending? But how long will it last? Will the money be actually given to charity or it will be just be stolen and used to buy a new car? Come on, get a grip on reality and move on, ITS JUST A GAME, geez.

It's a legitimate charity. All the proceeds go directly to it. How it works is connected in the description on said site. And for any questions into its legitimacy, the email of the charity and founder is provided.

And some of us played this game several times over, putting hours of our time into it, only to learn that none of it makes a difference. So, what you call just a game, many call an outcry of betrayal for making their choices irrelevant by cut and paste ending sequences that do nothing to make those playthroughs matter.

It's a real charity for real kids.
Why would the Retake Movement risk getting caught in a double standard by the media?
It would hurt the cause.

I hope you're being sarcastic. Any questions about the charity can be asked if you email the founder. The link can be found on the first post and proceed within.

Aha. So because you do not like it you attribute it with a tainted shade of dishonesty, when it clearly states that we can contact an official of the website to ensure that all is on the level.

Gotcha.

*sigh* or you could actually do some invesigative research and find out that it's actually a real charity, and in no way is giving to charity illegal.

Go get some rest. You're starting to make yourself look silly.

It's called being smart I'm not just about to throw some money at a charity for a video game ending and I have no reason to really trust you, if I'm giving to charity it's a well respected charity that has been given awards and accolades not some quicky thing set up by a group of people I've never heard of

it stunk to high heaven to me.

it used to be nigerian general emails, now they have shifted to charities over the last few years

I agree. If you ever felt compelled to give to charity you certainly don't need a video game ending group to help you do it. You can do it directly

Yeah I'm not just giving my money over to some video game ending group. I don't know them it would be actually stupid to just throw your money at these people and like you said by pass these game ending people all together and just give directly to some kids foundation. It's the smarter solution
