Then how would you have changed the ending so that it did make sense? I mean, you are after all playing a game where faster than light speeds are achieved all the time, English-speaking aliens, robotic giants without any (known) origin, human-alien intercourse and so on. I'm sorry, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of ground for sense when you look at the large picture.

I'm glad you liked the ending. Someone should appreciate them for what they intended to convey.

I didn't like them, but that shouldn't make us at odds.

Here is a fan's thought about what could have happened. They make the final battle more like the ME2 suicide mission, where war assets actually play a role in the ending we get:

Personally, I would have liked more Turians.

I am against this movement for a number of reasons, (the biggest of which its a waste of time on a luxury product...) but I shall say that at least Childs Play is getting a sizable donation in the end.

Do what you think is right, just be prepared for a wakeup call soon.

that's if they actually end up send any of the money to Childs Play, I understand that it's very well recoginzed but at the same time I'm not trusting them to actually send any money to Child's Play, like I've said earlier you're better off bypassing this group of video game fans and just sending the money directly to childs play

Its just a game. If you want to help the kids then don't use Mass Effect 3 as an excuse to get money from other people.

If you believe the organization is legitimate and you ask them and they say yes, where's the problem?

They meant to email the organization.

The site tracks only your direct donation to Child's Play as one coming from Retake Mass Effect (so that you can show your support while making your donation).

Your money goes directly to Child's Play; nowhere else.

Amazing, it's beginning to work. The majority of people against the Retake movement are either trolls or misinformed. Or both.

Hold the line! Keep it civil, don't let them anger you, we're turning the tide!

Yes, I'm beginning to notice that too. And I don't mean just trolls, but I think some are just too much of a realist and have tried to accept that nothing can be done about it. They've been so hardened in their way, that they see fighting for a cause that they consider pointless, childish. And really, when did anyone ever get anything accomplished through giving up?

-Considering how fast you are at dismissing a legitimate charity as a scam because some people you do not like are donating to it... Id say your hypocrisy shines through here. :)

That's a silly reason. We are fighting for something we are passionate about. We believe that Bioware can do better. When people react like they have, like yourself when confronted of the facts of the charity, and inspite of being proven wrong, you still fight it. And that's what many on this forum consider trolling. If you want to prove us wrong, stop arguing and contact the organization and ask them. Until then, you're being a troll.

The charity is real and quite known after the several Humble Indie Bundle that donated money to it. You can also check the wikipedia http://en.wikipedia...._Play_(charity)

another -10 for your cause

on the charity case..explain the connection ?

if shepard was a dog and the charity was dogs trust then fair enough.

but explain the connection between a video game ending and a charity ?

unless childs play is a charity for children with RSI ?

Child's Play is a charitable organization founded by the authors of the popular computer and video games-based webcomic Penny Arcade that organizes worldwide toy drives to children's hospitals. Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins founded Child's Play in 2003 to improve the lives of sick children by donating toys and games to hospitals worldwide. The charity is also seen as a way to refute mainstream media's perception of gamers as violent and antisocial. Through Child's Play, donors have sent over twelve million dollars in toys, games and books to children's hospitals all over the world.
