edit - bleh, his arguements are empty, even on the podcast. He loses the entitled argument and runs with the artistic arguement. What he seems to completely fail at again is all the examples of art being changed due to consumer perspective.

It's been posted before.

He will be receiving a larger galaxy map in the mail for his efforts.

If he had to be any more obvious he'd be covered in Mass Effect gear.

Again? Jezz... So done with them.

Wait, doesn't the PR thread warn that a wave of negative press is coming on Monday? We'd better brace ourselves for it.

EDIT: Nvm. Didn't realize it was that vid from days ago. ...I wondered why something would come out on a Sunday. :pinched:

In Eire, we'd refer to the chap as a "pretentious twot". of course, I occaisionally misuse vowels.

Careful, guys. I'm sure you've seen the warnings from members of Hold the Line that we need to stay as calm as possible. Let him rant and rave against us, let a thousand like him do the same. But DO NOT GIVE IN to his baiting. We are making an impression on the team, let's not lose it by getting worked up over someone else's opinion.

I know. ^_^ I was just making an attempt to forwarn the other people that will come in here to attack without thinking. I could honestly not care any less about IGN's opinion regarding us. We obviously have made an impact on the higher ups, and I want it to stay that way as long as possible.

Negative press from who?

Can only be IGN, Kotaku or Destructoid, that are the only ones naive enough to side with them.

Specially Kotaku that launched a campaign to defame the movement in multiple languages.

For anyone with perspective, I know I’m belaboring a point – a bad ending can ruin all, from prose to play – but the sad fact is: no other professional review of Mass Effect 3 factored this ending into their universally positive ratings for the game, even though many acknowledgedit as a problem. Not being one to claim conspiracy is to blame, I’d rather point to the more obvious culprit: ineptitude. A critic that can’t realize that narrative is often as important as gameplay – especially in an RPG – and that poorly constructed endings tarnish narrative quality – especially as it is the last thing the audience sees – is a poor critic indeed.

That is all that needs to be said on IGN.

The problem here is that their vision of the fiction told me loud and clear that it will change depending on my actions and it doesn´t.

All the rest is irrelevant.

Sense it was IGN I'm going to just ignore it. I lost all respect for those guys when they started thinking their opinion matters more then anyone elses.

HOLD THE LINE!!
