Yeah, that vid has been out for a while now - we all know Professor Moriarty here is a gigantic douche who is not to be taken seriously.

Hell, IGN in general can kiss my ass. When EA and Activion say jump, IGN says "how high?" - it's been that way for a while now. It's the only way games like ME3 and MW3 pull in 9/10 and 10/10 reviews from IGN among other boot-licking gaming sites.

No he's just doing his job as an EA employee.

remember folks.
bioware made promises and sold us a product.

This is the product they delivered

No Closure

No Sense

No Future

No Choice...

But they did deliver us

Plotholes

Questions

And a new god child we can bow down to and not question!  :D

This guys is rediculous.  Like we don't have reasons for not liking the ending.  Oi!  As a side note though, the whole game was amazing minus the ending.  For the points mentioned above. :)

HAHA, this guy is a ****ing, self-righteous douche.

Seriously, people who are that self-important always get the worst wake-up calls.

His Twitter usertag is "notaxation". Conservative piece of sh*t. Ignore everything he has to say.

...and there goes my IGN Prime subscription. Truth be told, I forgot I even had it, but thankfully this guy reminded me of it. I will never support that level of self rightousness with my own hard earned cash.

It's been posted before.

He will be receiving a larger galaxy map in the mail for his efforts.

If he had to be any more obvious he'd be covered in Mass Effect gear.

hear, hear.

OMG... I’ve never paid any attention to IGN so I had no idea who Allers was supposed to be... i just assumed she was the obvious trampy LI added to appeal to the gamers lured from shooters... trolololol.

Do IGN really believe that they can have any credibility in this argument... that really is priceless D:

Ok guys please stop calling Colin a douche, Bioware claims to come on the forums and read what their fans post. So this means they do not need to see that we are getting upset or calling someone names cause they dont agree with us.
Personally I have never been a fan of him as well as IGN. 90% of the time I just take what IGN has to say with a grain of salt.
Just ignore his rant, if he wants to basically yell (in the politest way possible) at us who did not like the ending and gave valid reasons to why we do not like it, then he will look like the fool. He is suppose to be the professional and he used profanity in his video as well as listed "facts" with no sources. So if anything attack his points he made in the video and disprove him so we can take back Mass Effect 3
Thanks, Animal81
P.S. can anyone state with a source about the fact the games back in the early to mid 90's costing more than games today? I've looked all over the internet and couldn't find anything about that

Funnily IGN has gone eerily silent on the whole subject since that video was released. Like pretty much no longer reporting on it because their arguements have so clearly epically failed.

this is a direct quote from our friend colin found at the bottom of his ME3 review:

"Colin Moriarty is a PlayStation Editor at IGN and co-host of Podcast Beyond. He joined IGN as a freelancer in 2002 and became an editor in 2007. He hails from Long Island, holds a degree in American history, loves the New York Jets and New York Islanders and intends to one day jump through the Charon Mass Relay. You can find him on Twitter."

Given Bioware just destroyed the Charon Relay, hes as screwed as the rest of us :D

The Sistine Chapel wasn't a "work of art". It was a media tie-in work, commissioned and paid for. If the Pope had decided he didn't like the way Michaelangelo painted the darn thing, he'd have ordered it changed and Michaelangelo would have complied. Because he was being paid to paint what the customer wanted.

This guy only wants hits for his Youtube video, and he is clearly taunting all the Mass Effect community by tagging us as "Entitled basement dwellers". It is very sad to see the lenghts these people will go just to be noticed.

I used to hit IGN to see game reviews in the past, but either they send a formal apology, or that is all over. The respect and admiration we have for Bioware is not there for IGN, so I'm neither going to be polite nor reasonable with this scum.

Like IGN have any credibility anyway.
Although expected, it is a little worrying how the sycophant games media have scrambled to defend the indefensible with such vigour. Makes you wonder if these people are even still gamers.

I'm willing to bet that 90% of the people who feel the need to belittle and demean anyone who didn't immediately fall in love with the ending never considered the fact that it is our story too. Why is it that no one sees that player contribution? Hell, some games actually ask for ideas and go out of their way to implement user-generated content.

Once, just once, I'd like one of these elitist "critics" to try talk down to me to my face. I'd walk away from it feeling better.

I just watch that, and i have to say, I feel really bad for the future state of games if this is what passes for art now. Especially if a pretentious ignoramus like that is going to be making them. I may just have to stop buying games if that comes to pass.
